Bible Meditation:
Acts 12: 1-12

He sends out His command to the earth: His word runs very swiftly – Psalm 147:15

God, our heavenly Father, always rescues His children from danger, disaster, and destruction. He sends out His command – His Word – to run swiftly and rescue His people (Psa.107:20; 147:15).  Life is unpredictable, but the LORD is ever present, ready, and able to loose, liberate, and rescue us from difficult, desperate or terrible situations.

Acts 12:1-16 shows how God responds to the cry of His people who walk humbly before Him during trying times. This was Peter’s ‘midnight hour’ – time when things were the darkest! He had been placed in a seemingly hopeless situation, where he needed to experience urgent divine intervention. No one is ever exempt from such an hour; the time when only a miracle can bring us the urgent relief we so desperately need. Praise God, for He will never abandon us in the dungeon of darkness.

Peter was imprisoned by a wicked ruler, King Herod, a persecutor of Christians who had the apostle James – John's brother – put to death. When Herod saw that the Jews were pleased about it, he had Peter arrested and put in prison to stand trial. Bound by four rotating shifts of four guards, equating sixteen guards in all, there seemed to be no way of escape; but God responded to the prayers of the saints. Swiftly, God loosed Peter from his chains and shackles in a way that only He could. You may not necessarily have done anything wrong for Satan or his agents to make trouble for you, especially if you have chosen to serve God in Spirit and in truth and to walk humbly before God; but remember, the Lord will rescue you.

The Commander of creation who rescued Lazarus from the tomb and Peter from the prison is commanding you to be loosed and liberated. God will swiftly rescue you from all satanic bondages – of addiction, deception, perversion, poverty, sickness or disease. Whatever may be your seemingly imprisoned state; even if all hell is breaking loose around you, God has positioned you for a miraculous release. No matter how hopeless the situation may seem, He always will make a way of escape. You are not forgotten – get ready for the miraculous! Get ready for a supernatural move of God!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
