GOD WILL TEACH YOU TO PROFIT

Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, Who TEACHES YOU TO PROFIT, Who LEADS YOU by the way you should go – Isaiah 48:17

God will TEACH you to PROFIT and LEAD you to PROSPER. He is interested in you living a profitable, productive, and fulfilled life. God is profit-oriented in plans, purposes, and pursuits. Little wonder that humans are also profit-oriented. The rational individual doesn’t invest time or other resources into ventures or people that will not yield profit. People go to great extent to establish relationships, knowing that rewards of power, riches, wealth or glory would flow through the strategic connections.

Although God is profit-oriented, His definition of profit transcends the shallow material or financial definition. Truly, money is vital to ministry: It takes money to build churches, feed the hungry, and send out missionaries. Yet, God’s ultimate goal is enduring and eternal profit. Christian Ministry is not a corporate business venture seeking profits in British pounds, American dollars, or Nigerian Naira. It is a divine assignment targeted at saving souls and building lives and destinies up in the image of God and for His Glory.

God never loses. The Almighty can never be a loser. Notwithstanding the barriers, cross, falls or obstacles on the pathway of destiny, God ultimately leads and teaches us to PROFIT, never to losses; to prosperity of life, never to penury. Our chief defence against failure and key secret to profit is the Knowledge of God’s Word: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is PROFITABLE for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Tim.3:16). God’s Word not only makes us aware of errors; it also teaches, prompts and empowers us to know and do what is proper and right. Only then can we walk uprightly before God and others and be “complete, thoroughly equipped for every work” (2Timothy 3:17).

The God of eternal profits delivers us from fleshly struggles, futile strife, and profitless stress, and ushers us in Christ, into realms of sweat-less, supernatural and satisfactory stewardship of life. God will teach and lead us to enduring, perpetual, and eternal profit.
