Bible Meditation:
Isaiah 43: 1-7

“Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have CREATED FOR MY GLORY; I have formed him, yes, I have made him” – Isaiah 43: 1-

GOD’S GLORY is MY GREATEST PURPOSE: “Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have CREATED FOR MY GLORY; I have formed him, yes, I have made him” (Isa.43:7). Every right-thinking person must have wondered occasionally: “Why am I even here? What is my purpose in life?” One of the most significant discoveries one can make is to realise they were made for God and His Glory. Humanity was the very pinnacle of God’s creation. Obviously, God was not lonely, and He did not need to create man. He was not desperate to have someone with whom He could talk and share His feelings. God didn’t need to create someone so they could give Him some advice, counsel, companionship or help. We need Him more than He needs us! So, if God did not really need man, then why did He create him? Fundamentally, God created humanity so that we could bring glory to Him.

The fact that God’s Glory is our chief Purpose is extremely important because it guarantees that life has immense essence, meaning and significance. God created us for His purpose, and when life is aligned with His purpose, life becomes the most fulfilling. So, if someone asks, “What is my chief purpose in life?” the answer is, “To bring Glory to God.” Just think for a moment how delightful it is to know and understand that your life is so important to God, the One who created all things, and valuable to the God who has existed forever. So often the world seems so big and we seem so small. The world has so many people in it, such that we may sometimes feel so insignificant, irrelevant, unimportant and small.

That is however not the case with God. He knows us deeply, intimately, and personally.  He made us, and everyone that He made is important and valuable to Him. No one is an accident, and we all have been made in the image of God and given the capacity to know Him. The tragic part is when we do not realise how valuable our life is to God. But our true purpose in life comes from God and is for God. He is indeed worthy and deserving of all the Glory that our lives bring to Him. If there was ever anyone who deserved honour and glory, it is God the Father, His amazing Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. God created an amazing world, deeply loved humanity whom He created in His Image, and eventually made the greatest sacrifice possible when He gave His only Son to die for our sins so we could spend eternity with Him.

Jesus made a remarkable statement: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly” (Jh.10:10). That is exactly what God has purposed for our lives: that we may have His supernatural power working in us mightily. When we look at God’s creation and all of the different creatures He made, it is obvious that we are the only part of His creation that are designed to know Him, to have meaningful fellowship with Him and to spend eternity with Him. We are the most important of God’s creation. We are most able to live lives that bring glory and honour to God. This has to be the greatest purpose that anyone could ever experience in their life – to be rightly related to the God of all eternity through faith in His Son Jesus Christ and to always be bringing glory and honour to Him.

Nothing is more important in creation than the Glory of God! The primary purpose of life is to manifest His Glory. There is no greater goal in life than to fully release the glory God has deposited in you and thereby reflect His Glory. The greatest tragedy in life is existence without purpose. As you remain connected to the Lord, you shall manifest His Glory and fulfil purpose, in Jesus name!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
