GOOD SEEDS (II): KINGDOM SONS

His SEED shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed – Psalm 112: 2

What are Good Seeds? Another good seed is the Seed of Sonship implanted in everyone that is born of the Spirit of God:  “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the SONS of God, even to them that believe on His Name” (Jh.1:12). Even in the natural, there is a seed of ‘adulthood’ implanted in every child at birth. Every baby has the potential to become a mature adult but not all do! God is calling you to maturity and manifestation of sonship in Christ. The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God (Rom.8:19). These are believers who through an understanding of their divine nature operate like their Father-God, exercising dominion on earth over all issues of life, and bringing liberty to others. Sons of God know that they are spirit-beings: they think, talk and live naturally in the supernatural!

Good seeds also include the Kingdom-sons planted into the gardens of our lives: “The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom; but the tares are the sons of the wicked one” (Mt.13:28). God has beautified your destiny with an array of destiny-helpers: family, friends, mentors, partners, burden-sharers, and encouragers. Acknowledge, appreciate, respect, and treat them as precious seeds planted by God for the revelation of His Glory in your life.

Principal among the good seeds are our offspring – our children (Gen.24:60; Psa.127:3). God purposed them to not only be good seeds, but Great Seeds! He told Abraham: “…I will make your seed as the dust in number…” (Gen.13:16); “…Your seed shall be as the stars in number” (Gen.15:5); and “…Kings shall come out of you” (Gen.17:6b). Abraham was the inheritor of great promises – a great name and lineage – but he was dependent upon his seeds to make these become a reality (Gen.18:19).  The LORD says to the one who fears Him: “His seed shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed” (Psa.112:2). You cannot afford to abandon your responsibility to your seeds. They are your future!

Beloved, make these your prophetic declarations:

• My seeds shall be counted to the Lord as a generation (Ps.22:30).
• My seeds shall never be forsaken or ever have reason to beg bread (Psa.37:25).
• Greatness and honour shall be counted in my generations (Ps.87:6).
• God shall establish my seeds and His dominion in my generations (Ps.89:4).
• In my lifetime, I shall see my seeds established before me (Ps.102:28).
• My seed shall be mighty upon earth and my generations are blessed (Ps.112:2).
