GOOD SEEDS (III): POTENTIALS FOR GOOD

Now may He who supplies SEED to the sower, and bread for  food, supply and multiply the SEED you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness – 2 Corinthians 9:10 (NKJV)

What are Good Seeds? God gives Seed to the Sower. Whatever God has planted within you is a good seed, waiting for bountiful harvest. For example, there is a Seed of Greatness in you, awaiting the Harvest of Glory. God will water it to bloom and blossom: “You will increase my GREATNESS, and comfort me on every side” (Psa.71:21). Also, as you walk with the Lord, He plants seeds of Joy in your heart. When you live and walk in the Spirit, this seed will flourish and yield the fruit of Joy supernaturally, independent of circumstances and situations.

A good seed is any potential in you to sow, give or do good to other others; any opportunity for good. Your attitudes, thoughts, words, gifts, and deeds are seeds either for good or evil, righteousness or unrighteousness, life or death. Each produces fruits after its kind. Sowing flesh-exalting seeds will produce fruits of corruption; while sowing to the spirit will bring life-enhancing, eternally-impactful fruits (Gal.6:8). It is time to let the seeds of your thoughts, imaginations, beliefs, confessions, words, decisions, behaviour, actions, habits, offerings, and service begin to express God’s goodness and transmit His Life, Love, and Light to all around you.

Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap (Gal. 6:7). Even divine favour responds to the Seed-Time-Harvest principle (Acts 10:1-5). Sowing seeds of goodness; solving problems and seeking the good of others and especially of the Kingdom of God are seeds that’ll ultimate procure favour (Pro.11:27; Eph.6:8). The seeds you sow today – in kind and manner – determine the kind of fruit you’ll reap tomorrow. Go and begin to sow good seeds that’ll increase your fruits of righteousness!

God’s good seeds cannot co-exist with evil seeds. Therefore, you must disallow every seed of sin. I command that any evil seed that has been planted in or around you to make the journey of life painful, difficult or tortuous be uprooted by fire in Jesus name. No seed of sadness and sorrow shall find a place in your life’s garden. God’s seeds of Joy shall produce bountiful harvests of Celebrations and Jubilations for you and yours. As the LORD opens your heart for the seed of His Word to be planted and flourish, may He also guide you to sow the right seeds in life and reap bountiful fruits for His glory.
