John 1: 1-14

For the Grace of God that bringeth salvation, hath appeared to all men – Titus 2:11

Grace is often described as “the unmerited favour of God freely given to man”. In reality, Grace is more than this. Unmerited favour is only one half of Grace – the passive aspect. Grace is the unmerited favour of God personalized in the Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:14): “full of grace and truth”.

This is the Holy Spirit’s definition of Grace: Grace is God’s divine enablement and potential freely made available to man.

Grace comes to complement for our weaknesses. It comes to help our limitations and insufficiency.

Once, the great apostle Paul had cause to complain to God about a particular limitation or weakness – an “infirmity” – in his life. God replied: “My Grace is sufficient for you” (2Corinthians 12: 9). Paul had God’s divine enablement in sufficient measure!

That’s why Paul could say: “I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound…I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4: 12, 13). That is Grace!

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; by whom also we have ACCESS BY FAITH INTO THE GRACE wherein we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God (Romans 5:1, 2).

Whereas at the level of Grass, Man is cut-off, fallen short and distant from God; at the level of Grace, we have ACCESS to God.

Again, at the level of Grass, Man is weak and feeble, bending before every negative influence; at the level of Grace, we are enabled to STAND FIRM and rejoice in the hope of glory!

Prayer:
O Lord, please grant me the fullest experience of the sufficiency of Your Grace, as I stand firm and rejoice in the hope of glory!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
