“I will give you the treasures of darkness and HIDDEN RICHES of SECRET PLACES...” – Isaiah 45:3a
There is no favoritism with the LORD, the Giver of HIDDEN RICHES of SECRET PLACES: “I will give you the treasures of darkness and HIDDEN RICHES of SECRET PLACES, that you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel” (Isa.45:3). For 29 days we have meditated on the Light of Divine Secrets, Secrets of Wisdom, the Secret Place, and Secret Life with God. As we stand on the threshold of a new month, let’s take a glimpse into the unfathomable Realm of God’s Hidden Riches of Secret Places.
God was addressing the Persian King Cyrus, a heathen king serving God’s purposes to free the Israelites. The promise of “treasures hidden in the darkness” referred to gold and silver which had been buried underground. King Cyrus was driven by wealth, but God had another purpose. He wanted Cyrus to know that He was the Lord, the God of Israel, the One who called him by name. Sometimes the treasures of life are earthly riches, wealth, awards, and positions, a more valuable treasure is knowing the all-powerful God of the universe is working in the darkness. Whatever we’re facing, however dark it may be, God is able to bring hidden treasures to light, so they’ll bring Glory to Him!
The term “treasures of darkness,” in the original Hebrew, also refers to the blessings God has stored up in His storehouse, ready to bestow upon those who choose to walk in His ways. Deuteronomy 28:12 uses this same word to describe the blessings God has stored up, ready to pour out on us when we walk in obedience to His Word. He has a storehouse of treasures stored up to lavish upon His children who walk in obedience to His precepts during the dark seasons when circumstances seem overwhelming and we have no light to see what lies ahead: “For You will light my lamp; The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness” (Psa.18:28).
God has hidden riches in secret places. Only He knows where they are or where He chooses to hide them. That’s why He is God. We only need to connect with the Owner of all things and He will begin to show us. However, it’s our situation that reveals His Power. There are secret riches hiding in our situations. The circumstances may be beyond our control, but they’re not beyond God’s. He can show up in our situation. Everything belongs to the Creator of all things, visible and invisible. He will reveal what we cannot see. He is God, not a politician that can be voted in or out. We cannot compare Him to His creatures. He is God before and after. He is the I AM THAT I AM. There is no shortage in His creation; the problem is that many have not discovered the hidden riches of secret places in God.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
