HOW TO FRAME YOUR FUTURE

You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways – Job 22:28 (NKJV)

Yesterday, we meditated on God’s world-changing Word. You are meant to turn the keys of the Kingdom by your tongue. Your future must never be left blank. Creation abhors vacuums. In particular, there is never a vacuum in the spirit realm. There is an enemy out there who wants to write prescription of pain and speak words of woe into your future. You must not only resist the devil, but also actively prophesy God’s Will into reality in your life. Nothing must be left to chance.

Your future is in your mouth. Your tomorrow is on your tongue. God wants you to “talk your tomorrow today”. Watch what you say. Speaking God’s Words is releasing Life. The Lord Jesus said: “…the words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” (Jh.6:63). Words are seeds that produce after their kind, and “whatever a man sows, that he will also reap” (Gal.6:7). Therefore, you will do well to train yourself to speak God’s words. Just like God framed the world by His Word, you can frame your future by God’s Word.

Joshua and Caleb defined a triumphant tomorrow by their faith-consciousness and confession (Num.13:30). The woman with the issue of blood changed her condition of affliction to wholeness as “she SAID, If I may touch but His clothes, I SHALL BE WHOLE” (vs.28). David, confronting Goliath, repeatedly “SAID” what he would “DO” before ever doing them. This sounds like boasting to the natural mind, but to the spiritual mind, it is “faith-talk”! (1Sam.17:23-51).

God’s Word has already prophesied the future that belongs to His children. Psalm 37:37 says, “Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; for the future of that man is peace.” Proverbs 4:18 affirms that “the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.”  Proverbs 23:18 also assures that your hope and expectation of reaching destination will not be cut off. God promises to perform His good word in your life, because His thoughts towards you are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jer.29:10-11). There is hope in your future (Jer.31:17). Beloved, begin to declare the future that God has defined for you.
