INTUITION

"All Scripture is given by INSPIRATION of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" – 2 Timothy 3:16

The human spirit can be better understood when "dissected" into three parts: INSPIRATION or INTUITION, Conscience, and Communion. Such "dissection" is of course for the purpose of spiritual analysis as derived from the Scriptures. It is not as though the human spirit has three clear compartments and no more. It is likely more complex. Yet, it's important that we understand the constitution and dynamics of the spirit in more detail if we would be equipped to walk and live on this earth as our Lord Jesus Christ walked and lived - as a spirit-man, filled with or "possessed by" the Holy Spirit. Our focus today is on INTUITION.

INSPIRATION is the Voice of the Holy Spirit inside the human spirit. As the Spirit of God releases Inspiration to the spirit of man, Intuition and Understanding are received: "But there is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding" (Job 32:8). The "breath of the Almighty" refers to Inspiration – His Voice in your spirit. Elihu knew the place of experience of the elderly and natural worldly wisdom of the aged: "I said, 'Age should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom'" (v.7). Yet, neither of these could surpass Inspiration: "Great men are not always wise, nor do the aged always understand justice" (v.9). Inspiration make the difference!s

Every person in Sin or in Christ is a tri-une being. The difference of being in Sin or in Christ is that you have of your own will invited Christ to come into your spirit. When Christ comes in the devil must vacate. The strong man in the house is cast out, although he immediately starts to scheme, plan, and deceive to get back in. As Christ takes up residence the old Adamic Sin is crucified and a new man - the Christ nature - comes into existence. As a newborn baby this new man must grow and mature into "manhood" and fatherhood (1Jh.2:12-14). As part of and to aid this process, Intuition is awoken and nurtured.

The Spirit of Christ that dwells in you has a "mind" (Rom.8:27). The Spirit of Christ has the "mind of Christ" hence you can have the same mind of Christ (Phil.2:5; 1Cor.2:16). The natural man that is not born again does not have the mind of Christ. He lacks inspiration. He cannot understand the things of the Spirit of God (1Cor.2:14). When such a person reads the Bible it makes no sense to him, because spiritual things are spiritually discerned. With inspiration in place, the Word opens up!  Specifically, prayerful Meditation is the spiritual discipline and habit that'll help you in listening to and hearing the Voice of Inspiration. By this, God will direct your thoughts, your walk, and your life so that they'll in every way reflect and manifest the life of Christ on earth - Christ-likeness! Inspiration and Intuition make life more profitable, fulfilling, and victorious!
