THE LAMB IS THE LIGHT

“The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The LAMB is its LIGHT” – Revelation 21:23

The LAMB is the LIGHT – the Ultimate, Eternal Light: ““The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The LAMB is its LIGHT. And the nations of those who are saved shall WALK in the LIGHT…” (Rev.21:23-24a). We have seen how the theme of Light streams through Scriptures. Light was the “genesis” of Time: “Then God said, “Let there be Light”; and there was Light” (Gen.1:3). God then pronounced it “good,” contrasting it throughout the Bible with darkness and evil, until the Son introduced Himself as the Light of the World (Jh.8:12). Finally, in Revelation, the Light personified illuminates the celestial city: the New Jerusalem had “the glory of God. Her light was like a precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal” (v.11)! The Lamb is the Light that’ll perpetually illuminate the entirety of eternity!

The Glory of God shall give Light to the City, the LAMB being the LAMP. Scriptures unveil Jesus Christ the Son both as the Lamb and the radiance of the Father – His outshining (Jh.1:29; Heb.1:3; Rev.5:12). Jesus the eternal Lamb and Lamp shines forth with the brilliance and splendour of the Godhead, helping us to see, feel and experience the Reality to which hitherto we were blinded. In His light we see the light of God: His life, purity, goodness, righteousness, favour, wisdom, understanding, and Presence. Since all of these are found in Jesus and will no longer be veiled by the dimness of the fallen world, we will finally experience them in abundance, unhindered, forever! The Lamb will be our Light in every sense of the word! Where God once dwelled in unapproachable light, we will forever bask in His Presence, and lounge in His Essence.

God is bringing our glorious destinies to reality by His Light! He is speaking and releasing His Light into all dimensions of our destinies to perfect His Plans and Purposes. Before we proceed into another Prophetic Adventure for the new month, this is a good place to recall the splendid diversity and sweet variety of the “Colours” of Divine Light we’ve graciously encountered:

Our encounters with the heavenly Light of Liberty have brought incredible illumination and indelible marks of transformation. In Christ, our lives are triumphant testimonies of total transformation from darkness to light; living witnesses of the sweetness of light. The dark gloom of doom is past. The bright light of salvation has dawned. We dwell where darkness no longer reigns!

By the Light of Revelation, the darkness of Ignorance has been exposed and destroyed; and we are sustained to stand in restoration and righteousness; firm in faith, patient in hope, walking in dominion, waiting and watching for Messiah’s Return.

Obedience to the Light of heavenly Vision has dispelled darkness, delivered us from confusion and destruction, secured us Victory, and established our Dominion. Our reasons for being and life’s assignments are unveiled with precision and renewed!

The Light of Knowledge has demolished the darkness of deception, and ushered us into life, liberty, power, strength, stability, and exploits. The Light of Wisdom is our principal instrument for building, winning, and enthronement in dominion. This colourful light is sweet to our souls, profitably decorating our destinies, and manifesting our expectations. The Light of Understanding keeps us safe, supernaturally smart and outstanding in life as we navigate the world’s dark lanes!

The Light of Inspiration is igniting Insight for positive Impact in our world, as the breath of the Almighty moves upon our mentality to manifest His divinity. The Light of Divine Dreams is directing our destinies, shaping our future for God’s Glory.

Let’s embrace the Lights of Divine Secrets, Direction, Instructions, Counsel, and Creativity for lives of advancement, dignity, dominion, and distinction, free from frustration, stagnation, and regrets, and flowing in divine Ideas and Innovations!

“…the nations of those who are saved shall WALK in the LIGHT…” (v.24). Are you saved? Are you walking with the Lamb? Are you walking in the Light?
