Bible Meditation:
James 1: 1-8

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, Who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given them" James 1:5

Wisdom from God’s Word and His Spirit is crucial for LEADERSHIP IMPACT: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, Who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given them" (Jam.1:5). Wisdom, defined as Divine Know-How, or the ability to make sound judgments based on divine knowledge, is available to those who ask God in faith. To have a lasting and meaningful impact in ministry and leadership, the Bible emphasizes seeking spiritual wisdom, relying on the Holy Spirit's guidance, and building a ministry based on eternal principles rather than worldly metrics, as paths to Kingdom advancement.

Insight comes through seeking God's Wisdom: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Pro.3:5-6). We are not to rely on personal intellect and experience, but to humble ourselves and ask God for guidance. However, our pursuit must be for Wisdom from God, not the world. Worldly wisdom is foolishness in God's eyes; true insight comes from aligning with His Word through prayer and study: "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For its is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness' (1Cor.3:19).

Insight comes through building a ministry that’s based on eternal principles as revealed in the Scriptures: “Be diligently to present yourself to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2Tim.2:15). Leaders are diligent students of God’s Word. Scripture is a guide for our path that reveals God's ways: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psa.119:105). However, prioritizing God’s Kingdom and righteousness ensures pure motivations..

Insight comes through the leading of the Holy Spirit: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God” (Rom.8:14). In the New Covenant, the Holy Spirit provides internal guidance. The impact of the early church came from the power of the Holy Spirit: “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). Impact follows the Spirit’s Power. Furthermore, Believers are equipped to listen to the Spirit’s Voice, walk in the spirit, and obey His promptings (Gal.5:25).

Principles for a lasting and impactful leadership include: Building on the right foundation – Christ (1Cor.3:11); focusing on discipleship and the spiritual depth of the Believers, not just numbers (Matt.28:19); trusting God for the growth (1Cor.3:7); operating from grace and humble dependency on God, not pride (1Cor.15:10); and leading with humility (Phi.2:3).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
