Bible Meditation:
1 Corinthians 2: 6-12

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who LOVE HIM – 1 Corinthians 2:9b

LOVE for GOD is the foundation for fulfilling LIFE’S CHIEF PURPOSE: But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who LOVE HIM (1 Cor.2:9). This vital connection between Love for God and Living a Life of Purpose is well established in Scriptures: And we know that all things work together for good to THOSE WHO LOVE GOD, to those who are the called according to HIS PURPOSE(Rom.8:28). All things do not simply work together for good. The promise is to people who LOVE GOD and are called according to His purpose! Fulfilling Life’s Chief Purpose is pivoted on a Life of Love!

Love for God keeps the Believer focused on Him and His Purpose despite life’s bumps and bruises, knowing that He is preparing us for the perfect destiny we were created to live out. Our response to the challenges may determine the extent to which we fulfil purpose. It’s easy to throw in the towel and walk away when life’s challenges seem pointless or too painful. But if we’ll keep our eyes focused on God’s purpose, not our pain, He’ll use our trials for our good and His glory. For children of the King, no pain or experience is wasted. As we keep our eyes focused on the destination, we would find the strength for the journey. In Christ, there’s a glorious destiny to discover and live out.

God designs and constructs the highways of experience, opportunities, passions, and abilities, to lead us to the intersection of our purpose in Him. As we embrace His Love in Christ, God orchestrates all of these ingredients that “eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man,” to enable us fulfil our callings and purposes in life. As we journey the path toward our destiny, let’s stay linked in Love and Fellowship with the Lord, so He can take us where we need to go. We must not despair even when it seems that we’re on roads going nowhere. God will reveal His “hidden wisdom” and His Will “to us through His Spirit” (vv.6-7,10). As we keep going, taking one day at a time, we shall discover in time that all roads will eventually meet at the point of our purpose we love God and are called according to His Purpose!

God is a God of Purpose, but also of Relationship. In the pathway of Purpose, He desires our consistent obedience and ever-deepening love. He wants to know we truly love and value Him – not just for what He can do for us, but for who He is. God longs for us to fully live out the purpose, plan and destiny He has created for us.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
