LIFE – AN INSIDE JOB

Bible Meditation:
2 Corinthians 4: 1-11

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us – 2 Corinthians 4:6

Christianity is about a new life – the Life of Christ – in man. The Holy Spirit came purposely to administer the Resurrection Life of Jesus to the believer. He came to administer what heaven provided through Christ. This Life of God is the one thing that Satan can never touch, adulterate, overpower, conquer or destroy. It is the commodity Jesus delivered unto us through His death and resurrection. This eternal life has met and defeated all the elements of death, sin, disease, Satan and hell. It has been tested through the humanity of Jesus and been found triumphant…but this life is essentially an INNER LIFE!

What then is the recurring dilemma of the Christian’s faith? This is it: the precious resurrection life deposited within us has to contend with our un-resurrected bodies! The old nature must be made to surrender so that this new life nature might increase. Paul caught this revelation: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me (Gal.2:20).

Life is essentially an inside job! The unseen, inner Life controls the outer, visible world. It is time for us to begin to give greater attention to the INNER LIFE. But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding (Job 32:8). God’s Inspiration (HIS PURPOSE) is superior to your aspirations (YOUR PLANS).

There is a spirit in man: God’s inspiration from within will deliver you from meaningless desperation and futile perspiration. When your plan is God-breathed, it is bound to break through. When your goals are divinely inspired, they will be divinely empowered. Make up your mind that henceforth, only divinely sanctified thoughts must direct your steps. Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it flow the issues of life (Pro.4:23).

Prayer:
O Lord, I submit to Your Inspiration in my inner man and overcome all forms of meaningless desperation and futile perspiration in Jesus name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
