Bible Meditation:
Isaiah 48: 10-22

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who LEADS YOU BY THE WAY you should go” – Isaiah 48:17

The LIGHT of DIVINE DIRECTION is a powerful key to advancement, dominion, and distinction in destiny: Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by THE WAY YOU SHOULD GO” (Isa.48:17). The Light of Divine Direction shows the way” to “walk in” to accomplish life’s Vision. Isaiah’s Spirit-inspired words were to encourage the people of Israel as they suffered affliction during Babylonian captivity. God gives clear direction to glorious destinations: “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “THIS IS THE WAY, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left” (Isa.30:21). Lack of direction produces confusion, depression, frustration, devastation or destruction. Every heavenly vision must be divinely directed!

It is the believer with listening ears, attentive heart, and a teachable spirit that the Lord directs and leads into Profit. The Holy One of Israel who rescued His people from enslavement in Egypt also graciously redeemed us from the slave-market of sin. He promised to teach Israel what would benefit them. And He has promised to guide believers into the way of truth, direct us through deep valleys of darkness and uphold us with His righteous right hand, as we climb life’s challenging hills. The Spirit of God led Israel through the wilderness by the cloudy pillar by day and fiery pillar by night (Neh.9:12). He rained down manna from heaven and parted the Jordan so they could enter the Promised Land.

Jesus always acted in line with divine direction (Jh.5:19. Now, He teaches and trains us in the way we should go. He guards and guides us on our earthly sojourn. The Holy Spirit directs us along the best path for each one of us, however difficult or demanding. He gently leads the Body of Christ through the peaks and pitfalls of this worldly system, pointing out the path of righteousness, instructing us on the highway of holiness, and bearing us on eagle’s wings during times of exhaustion. He guides us into all truth, speaks to us through inspired Scriptures, and unveils God’s gracious Character, teaching us to live to please Him (Jh.14:26; 16:13-14; Rom.8:14).

Direction is vital to every journey in life. When God speaks, it profits us to listen and obey: O that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea” (v.18). Visions, however lofty, will end up as costly wreckages once direction is misplaced. When God gives a Vision – the unveiling of Life’s Purpose – He supplies the direction as well. This demands laying aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…” (Heb.12:1-2). As long as He remains your focus, He who authored your vision will supply the direction for you to finish well and finish strong. Wisdom supplies Direction: “…Wisdom is profitable to direct” (Eccl.5:10).

You must discover and be definite of the direction you have been divinely ordained to pursue and excel. It’s vital to determine early the direction of Vision rather than wait until the dusk of life before checking the signposts along the way. It’s proper in the prime of life to “ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established” (Pro. 4:26). Every step in life either leads forward, upward, backward or downward. Misdirection can cause decades of set-back, delay or destruction. Even when all seems to be right or appear safe, the end result may be frustration, stagnation or destruction: “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Pro.14:12). No amount of human ‘calculations’ can match divine direction: “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD ponders the hearts” (Pro. 21:2).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
