LIGHT FOR HEALING AND HEALTH (2)

“Behold, I will bring it HEALTH and HEALING; I will HEAL them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth” – Jeremiah 33:6

The Word of God is full of LIGHT for HEALING and HEALTH: “Behold, I will bring it HEALTH and HEALING; I will HEAL them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth” (Jer.33:6). This is one of numerous promises of Divine Health and Divine Healing in the Scriptures. Prophesying about Excellence of the Restored Nation, Jeremiah switched the focus of his message to the Jews, from warnings of destruction, to promises of forgiveness, goodness, restoration, healing, health, and peace. Before the promises, there was a Call to Prayer: “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know” (v.3). This promise of answered prayers applies to every Believer in Christ: “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you” (Jh.15:7).

Verse 1 reveals that the prophet was “shut up in the court of the prison.” Yet, his odd condition didn’t dampen his spirit from declaring Health and Healing to God’s people. The Message Bible says: "But now take another look. I'm going to give this city a thorough renovation, working a TRUE HEALING inside and out. I'm going to show them life WHOLE, life brimming with blessings. I'll restore everything that was lost to Judah and Jerusalem. I'll build everything back as good as new. I'll scrub them clean from the dirt they've done against me. I'll forgive everything they've done wrong, forgive all their rebellions. And Jerusalem will be a center of JOY and PRAISE and GLORY for all the countries on earth. They'll get reports on all the good I'm doing for her. They'll be in awe of the BLESSINGS I am pouring on her” (vv.6-9).

To a city that was filled with destruction, God promised health and healing, if they’ll call on Him. To receive His Help, we must hold on to His Word, trust and call upon Him. As we embrace His Light, the Lord will fulfil all promises of Healing and Health in our lives. The LORD will:

• Give the cities of our lives, families, businesses, and ministries, positive and thorough renovation.
• Work “a True Healing inside out” in all aspects of our lives.
• Heal our spiritual and emotional wounds, and release abundance of Peace, Prosperity and Security.
• Show us wholeness of life – brimming with blessings on all sides.
• Restore everything that was lost – our spiritual, ministerial, material, family, financial, and other assets.
• Build everything back as good as new, however broken our lives and health might have been.
• Scrub us clean from every dirt, filth and sin, forgiving us all that we’ve done wrong in rebellion.
• Transform us into the Cynosure of Joy, Praise, and Glory, with positive Impact on everyone around us.
