“For He satisfies the LONGING SOUL, and fills the HUNGRY SOUL with goodness” – Psalm 107:9
God conducts Soul Surgery and Therapy by means of Divine LIGHT for SOUL HEALTH: “For He satisfies the LONGING SOUL, and fills the HUNGRY SOUL with goodness” (Psa.107:9). Every soul is precious to God. He’ll never leave a soul sick. Man is a Spirit, with a Soul, living in a package called the Body. Paul prayed: “...May your whole SPIRIT, SOUL, and BODY be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1The.5:23). God released His Breath – His own Life – into the human body and “man became a Living Soul” (Psa.2:7).
The soul links the body and spirit. By the body, the soul relates to the external world; by the spirit, with the spiritual world and with God. By the soul, the spirit can subject the body to heavenly influence and thus spiritualize it; while the body can act upon the spirit and attract it earthwards. The soul, subject to the needs of both the spirit and body, can choose between the Voice of God, speaking by His Spirit, or the voice of the world, speaking through the senses. Our Lord Jesus is the Saviour both of the Soul and the Body (Psa.103:1, 3).
The soul was ordained to operate in harmony with divinity, but sin – sickness of the soul – dented the soul, for which salvation, deliverance, and restoration are required. Here are ten symptoms of unhealthy souls gleaned from Psalm 107 and other scriptures:
Wandering soul: “They wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way…” (v.4) – in need of direction.
Fainting soul: “Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them” (v.5) – in need of rejuvenation.
Troubled soul: “Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses” (v.6).
Longing and Hungry soul: “For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the famished soul with goodness” (v.9) – in need of satisfaction.
Bound and afflicted soul: “Those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, bound in affliction and irons” (v.10) – in need of liberation.
Lean soul: “And He gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul” (Ps.106:15) – in need of nourishment.
Bitter soul: “… I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul” (Job 7: 11).
Needy soul: “He will spare the poor and needy, and will save the souls of the needy” (Psa.72:13).
Wounded soul: “The dying groan in the city, and the souls of the wounded cry out” (Job 24:12a) – in need of restoration.
Vexed soul: “My soul also is greatly troubled; but You, O LORD – how long?” (Psa.6:3) – in need of comfort.
Satan deceives, defeats, and destroys souls. God delivers and restores souls. God is the Healer and Helper of souls (Psa.33: 19-20; 34:22).
Whatever the state of our soul, the Shepherd of our souls will, by the Light for Soul Health, restore and transform us for His Glory.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
