Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which TEACHETH thee to profit, which LEADETH thee by the way that thou shouldest go – Isaiah 48: 17
LIFE is a collection of CHOICES. Life is full of choices – major, minor, tough and trivial. Destiny is a succession of DECISIONS. Standing on the threshold of the New Year 2016 is another opportunity to reflect – not regret – on the decisions of the ‘dying’ year, with their lessons or blessings. It is also a proper time to commit our ways to the Lord – our Creator – that He may prepare our hearts and minds for the imminent decisions that we’ll soon begin to make in the New Year!
To decide is to make up one’s mind. A decision is the commitment to a course of action; often a commitment to a PURPOSE. Success in life is more by choice than by chance. It takes a decision to change your situation. Choices of who to marry; what course of study to pursue; what career changes to make; what business to invest in; what employment opening to consider; what church to attend; what city or neighbourhood to reside in; what size of family to have; when and how to retire…Choices, choices and numerous decisions!
Yet, many people dread making decisions; mainly because we’re terrified of making the wrong or lousy ones. Choosing scares us. Choosing comes from the core of who we are. When we truly choose, we have no one to blame and nowhere to hide; and that can be downright petrifying.
There is nothing like developing in God’s wisdom and discernment to the point of making our decisions in the light of His Word, and walking by faith and in the confidence that He will be there guiding us in the path of our choices (Isaiah 48:17-18). God wants to TEACH us how to make profitable choices. He wants us to learn how to choose well. He wants to LEAD us in the right way. He says in James 1:5 (NIV), “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
God does not intend for you to be fretful abound making choices or decisions. You are not to live in fear of making the wrong decision. All He demands is that you ask for WISDOM at every junction. He’ll ensure that even your seemingly “wrong” decisions work out for your good and for His Glory (Rom.8:28). If you believe, trust and obey, nothing can stand in the way of God’s ultimate Will for your life and destiny!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
