Bible Meditation:
Isaiah 41: 1-16

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I WILL STRENGTHEN YOU, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” – Isaiah 41:10

Beloved, please join me to meditate and pray: “LORD, STRENGTHEN ME TO FULFIL DESTINY”! God promised through Prophet Isaiah: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I WILL STRENGTHEN YOU, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (v.10). His righteous right hand is ever ready to strengthen, help, and uphold us. God establishes and strengthens us when we wait on Him: “Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!” (Psa.27:14). It is in His divine pattern to follow establishment with strength. That’s how establishment is secured. God assured David: “With whom My hand shall be established; also My arm shall strengthen him” (Psa.89:21). Join me to proclaim this prophecy: God’s hand shall be established on my life; His arm shall strengthen me to fulfil destiny, in Jesus name!

Strength is multi-faceted. Physical strength is that which is so often depleted by the rigours, challenges and difficulties of life. Mental and emotional strength are required to face the related stresses. The highest dimension of strength is however spiritual strength – strength in the inner man. Paul prayed that God “would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man” (Eph.3:16). All of the different dimensions of strength work to affect each other. They are interconnected; and receiving divine strength in one particular area often spills over and empowers us in the others. God’s promises of Strength are many: “Be of good courage, and He shall STRENGTHEN YOUR HEART, all you who hope in the Lord (Psa.31:24). As you choose courage over fear and hope over despair, God will strengthen your heart to face the future and overcome all oppositions to destiny fulfilment!

The real strength of the believer in Christ is not in anything physical, but in the Presence of God. David declared: “the LORD is the Strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psa.27:1). For this same reason Paul admonished: Finally, my brethren, be STRONG IN THE LORD and in the power of His might” (Eph.6:10). He further affirmed: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil.4:13). Writing to Timothy, he testified: “But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion” (2Tim.4:17). Samson’s error was that he neither understood God’s Presence as the Source of His strength nor had any intimate relationship with Him. The Strength in God’s Presence can be received through a number of channels, three of which are:

The Joy of the Lord: Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the JOY of the LORD is your strength” (Neh.8:10).

Divine Wisdom: “Wisdom strengthens the wise more than ten rulers of the city” (Ecc.7:19).

Heavenly Encounters (Dan.10:18-19): Jesus Christ was strengthened “when an angel appeared to Him from heaven” (Lk.22:43).

There are occasions when you as a believer must strengthen yourself in the Lord your God: “Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God” (1Sam.30:6). May you on such occasions remember your Source, in Jesus name!

I pray for you this Prayer of Divine Strength: “May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; may the name of the God of Jacob defend you; may He send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion” (Psa.20:1-2).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
