John 13: 1-35

…Love never dies… – 1 Corinthians 13:8 (Message)

Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that His hour was come that He should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved His own which were in the world, He loved them unto the end – John 13: 1

Love is eternal. Love never dies. The music and melody of love never stops. Love “bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” This sounds impossible, impracticable and unreal to the uninitiated. Is it really a fantasy? Is it more like a morning vapour which soon disappears with the rising sun? Those who truly know God also know the reality of His love – in their everyday walk and relationships.

In many instances, man’s imperfect devices and fabrications have failed, but God’s love never fails. There are no periods with God’s love. His love does not stop with the sunset or begin with a special season. Divine love will endure throughout time and eternity. In the darkest of nights, there will always be the eternal light of God’s love. Love will outshine hatred and penetrate the vilest and the worst! God’s love is most evident in the Sacrifice of His Son. He gave His most precious Son to die for people who were totally undeserving of this eternal gesture. Jesus abandoned all His rights and went right to the cross, to suffer and to die. His love didn't stop during His betrayal by those most close to Him, but brought Him right through death’s door. Others will know that we are Christians by our love (Jh.13:35). The Lord commands us to love each other as He has loved us (Jh.15:12).

Love stands in a class of her own. Agape love shows us the depth and detail of God’s perfect and complete love for us. As followers of Christ, believers receive the grace of God to express divine love in human form. Our experience of Christian love is one of the ways we now taste in part the perfection that awaits us in full in eternity. Through His love in us, we actually participate in the grace of God Himself. His love in us will extend to eternity – in both results and rewards.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
