Ephesians 1: 1-23

“And what is the exceeding greatness of HIS POWER toward us who believe, according to the working of His MIGHTY POWER” – Ephesians 1:19

The Power for MOVING in the MIRACULOUS is potentially available to every believer in Christ: And what is the exceeding greatness of His Power toward us who believe, according to the working of His Mighty Power” (Eph.1:19). To move in miracles, signs, and wonders however, demands faith in God and obedience to His Word. This realm is particularly available to Christians who are on the “Go” with the Gospel: “And He called the twelve to Him, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them POWER over unclean spirits” (Mk.6:7). His Power accompanies and confirms the preaching of the Word (Mk.16:20). The message of the good news of the Kingdom, accompanied by supernatural proof of its authenticity, must be preached to all the nations of the earth in order to gather the harvest of souls. The ‘partnership’ of the Word and the miraculous convicts souls and is more effective than any philosophical or theological lecture.

The miraculous is not subject to the limitations of language, confines of social classes or boundaries of geography. People of every social stratum, race, and profession have a desire to know the truth and are ready to accept Jesus when miracles manifest. Believers are emissaries or agents of the Supernatural God one earth, anointed by Jesus as His representatives to do the same miracles and wonders He performed: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father” (Jh.14:12). The Lord Jesus continues to live and manifest Himself through us as we surrender and humble ourselves. He wants to use our humanity so that we can become conduits, channels, and vessels of God’s blessings through healings, miracles, signs, and wonders.

Let’s ponder of three key principles for operating in the miraculous:

Develop a Consistent Personal Prayer Life: “…men ought always to pray, and not to faint” (Lk.18:1b). The alternative to praying is fainting! People who refuse to pray become the ‘prey’! Every powerful move in the miraculous by the Lord Himself, was preceded by fervent, effective praying. Prior to selecting His twelve disciples, “He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God” (Lk.6:12). His supernatural transfiguration followed His ascending the mountain to pray: “And as He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening” (Lk.9:28-29). Jesus’ life and ministry modelled the “Public Power of Private Prayer”! His persistent life of prayer was the main force propelling all the miracles, signs, and wonders He performed.

Operate by the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation: the “exceeding greatness of His Power” and “the working of His mighty power” are based on receiving and operating by “the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge” of God (Eph.1:17-19). The miraculous are birthed in the spiritual realm. Information and intellectual knowledge cannot take the place of revelation. The Spirit of wisdom and revelation teaches us how to flow in the supernatural. Natural methods are inoperable in the realms of miracles. Entering into the supernatural and moving in the miraculous takes more than confessing and declaring; it involves knowing how to manifest the signs of God’s Power. The supernatural would rarely work for those who haven’t received the knowledge to activate it. Many revivals through the ages have died due to lack of continuous revelation of what God desired to do, because without revelation, the church is limited to dry, lifeless doctrines.

Understand the Law of Expectation: “So he gave then his attention, expecting to receive something from them” (Acts 3:5). Jesus could do virtually no miracle in His hometown because of the people’s unbelief. As believers, we should always expect to receive a miracle, healing, deliverance, or some other supernatural work. The expectancy from God’s people will propel His power to manifest. A key secret to flowing in miracles is to know God’s time to manifest them and always expecting something positive to happen.

Prayer:
Lord, train me to pray, operate by the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, and always expect and move in the miraculous, in Jesus name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
