PEACE IN GOD

Now the GOD of PEACE be with you all. Amen – Romans 15:33

The third pedestal of peace – PEACE IN GOD – is the level of Perfect Peace indeed (Isa.26:3). The GOD of Peace is superior to the Peace of God. Therefore, when the God of Peace Himself saturates your life, you have more than the peace of God, your actually possess Peace IN God. This is where the believer’s trust in God is so absolute; no iota of anxiety, doubt, fear, insecurity or uncertainty can be discerned.

Paul, the apostle operated consistently on this pedestal of peace. Consider his recurring prayers for believers:

• And the very God of Peace sanctify you wholly…spirit and soul and body…” (1 Thes.5:23).

• Now the LORD of PEACE Himself give you PEACE ALWAYS by all means. The Lord be with you ALWAYS (2The.3:16).

Paul was so conscious of the Lord’s presence; he exhibited perfect peace amidst the contrary winds of life (Acts 27:22-23).

Peace in God is like swimming in the River of Peace. It is the realm of “peace always by all means.” On this level of peace, you know beyond the shadow of doubt that the Lord is with you ALWAYS! It takes understanding and embracing God’s Manifest Presence to partake of this highest pedestal of peace.

Jesus of Nazareth carried such a manifest presence of the Father, that He experienced Peace Always. He was never caught off-guard. Every opposition bowed at the Master’s Presence because “God was with Him” (Acts 10:38). With such quiet confidence and peaceful assurance, He went about doing good and scaling obstacles as if they were no longer in existence. Pauls prayed for the Roman Christians thus: “And the God of Peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly…” (Rom.16:20). Only the perfect peace of God can accomplish such an ironic feat!
