FROM POTENTIAL TO PERFORMANCE

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all...” – Acts 10:38a

Jesus Christ exemplifies the Shift FROM POTENTIAL TO PERFORMANCE: “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him" (Acts 10:38). He wants all Believers to manifest by their potential, the power for consistent performance. The secret behind His earthly ministry was not mere human talent, but a divine partnership – the anointing of the Holy Spirit – that enabled Him to impact and transform the world. This same power is available today to make Believers effective witnesses and agents of positive change.

Peter spoke of the Impartiality of God: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality...” (vv.34-35). God is not a respecter of persons. Divine Power is not reserved for an elite class of Believers. Whoever fears Him and does righteousness – regardless of background, nationality, or status – is a candidate for the “anointing” – that overwhelming Presence of the Holy Spirit, which acts as a magnifier of our human capabilities. In line with the Purpose of His Power, Jesus "went about doing good" (v.38). The anointing is not for show, but for service. Divine Power is intended to be practical, bringing tangible blessings, real solutions, and positive impact to homes, communities, and workspaces.

God’s Power is not passive! It targets healing the oppressed (v.38b). Divine Power is superior to demonic power; providing healing, liberation, and freedom from spiritual and physical bondage. Enabled by the Divine Presence, Jesus healed all who were oppressed by the devil. The ultimate secret to sustainable performance is intimacy. The Power is active when God’s Presence is cultivated and sustained, resulting in Expansion and Transformation (vv.44-48): While Peter was speaking, the Holy Spirit fell upon the Gentiles, proving that Divine Power breaks barriers, creates new beginnings, and transforms hearers into witnesses! However, impact is not possible when the anointing is not stirred.

Moving from potential to power, we press into His Presence as we activate the anointing daily! By faith, we actively look for “doing good” opportunities. We engage in Power Encounters, refusing to accept sickness, depression, or oppression as normal. However, the "anointing" is not just for tasks; it is a lifestyle of intimacy with the Holy Spirit that keeps us dynamic and relevant in expressing the Love of God.

In Jesus’ name I prophesy that:

I receive a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit and Power for positive impact, and every oppression of the devil in my family is broken!

My feet are anointed for speed and my hands for miracles. I am unstoppable, for God is with me and He is in me.

I shall not live a wasted life; I will fulfill my divine purpose. Divine Favor surrounds me, causing me to manifest in every area of my life.

I receive the Wisdom of the Spirit to turn challenges into opportunities. Every long-standing issue in my life is becoming history right now.

I am a carrier of divine oil; therefore, I am untouchable and invincible to the enemy until my assignment is fully finished.
