And they overcame him by the BLOOD of the LAMB, and by the Word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death – Revelation 12:11
Today, the 40th in our series on Power, let’s meditate on God’s last card – the BLOOD! JESUS gave us LIFE through the shedding of His Blood because “…the LIFE of the flesh is in the BLOOD…” (Lev.17:11). His Blood is the Source of our Life! It makes God’s Life (Zoe) available to us. There is more power in a single drop of the Blood of JESUS than in the entire kingdom of Satan. In the shedding of His blood, our Great High priest of the New Covenant fulfilled in detail the picture of the Old Testament high priest in Leviticus chapter 16, sprinkling the blood of the sacrifice seven times (Lev.16: 14,19).
His Blood is the Covenant Stronghold of the saints: “…by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water. Turn you to the STRONGHOLD, ye prisoners of hope…” (Zech.9:11-12). When you come under the covering of the Blood, God’s weapons of warfare go forth to defend you (vs.14-15). The Blood of the covenant wraps you up with Power. It exempts you from satanic molestation, shame and reproach. Zechariah 13:1 says: “In that day there shall be A FOUNTAIN OPENED to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.” The body of our Passover Lamb was opened as a fountain for sin. Jesus shed His blood in seven ways: from His skin, face, back, head, hands, feet, and side. He shed every drop of His precious blood to meet all of our needs in all areas of our lives.
The Blood provided full redemption for us in one day: “I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day” (Zech.3:9b). The Blood conquered Sin (Heb.9:11). We were redeemed by the Blood (Eph.1:7; 1Pet.1:18-19). We were justified; declared righteous, and acquitted from sin and guilt by the Blood (Rom.5:9). We are sanctified – set apart from sin unto God – by the Blood (Heb.13:12). His Blood continually cleanses us from sin and keeps us pure from the contaminating influences of the world (1Jh.1:7). It gives us unfettered Access into God’s Presence and boldness in prayer (Heb.10:19). His Blood is a ‘living substance’ that speaks for us in heaven, pleading grace, mercy, righteousness, and all the New Covenant benefits “…the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel (Heb. 12:24).
The Blood of the Lamb delivers to us power, wisdom, strength, honour, riches, glory and blessings (Rev.5: 9-12). Faith in the Word and in the Blood makes you an Overcomer that cannot be stopped. By the Blood you overcome Satan and his cohorts, as they cannot cross the Blood-line. It makes you unstoppable and inaccessible to Satan’s assaults. But you must learn to avail yourself of the Blood. Put the Blood to use. Learn to personally testify to what God’s Word says that the Blood does for you. Constantly invoke and plead the Blood. Boldly say what the Blood has secured for you. Exercise faith in the Blood. Recognize, appreciate, honour, and apply the efficacy of the blood daily in your life. As we round off our meditations on the theme of Power today, go forth as an Overcomer by the Blood of the Lamb!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
