POWER OF ONE WORD

A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and A WORD spoken in due season, how good is it!

– Proverbs 15:23

At the inception of the year 2015, the Lord opened our eyes to the “Power of One Word.” From month to month, He released key words for us to meditate on: doors, keys, ways, mountains, winds, gardens, rivers, fountains, hands and feet. To our amazement and wonder, these seemingly simple but profoundly vital words were loaded with prophetic revelation. The Lord used the insight, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding condensed in these “Words” as platforms for our promotion! Psalm 12:6 says, “The words of the LORD are PURE WORDS: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.” The Lord Jesus said: “…Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matt.4:4).

One word can radically restore a destiny! One Word spoken in season can change things for the best: “A WORD fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver” (Pro.25:11). There are powerful words that can make or mar a person, family, church, community or nation. God uses life-giving, destiny-building, miracle words to save and secure souls or to reverse any evil the devil has done. For example, the word ‘restore’ can cause the losses of several years to be restored in one day. It can deal with the root causes of diseases and usher the sick into wholeness. Words like ‘blossom’, ‘build’, ‘flourish’, ‘fruit’, ‘fiery’, ‘great’, ‘multiply’, ‘plant’, ‘soar’ or ‘yield’ spoken on the lips of faith, will ignite action, passion and motivation.

In contrast, one wrong, negative or poisonous word from the enemy can cause life-long damage. Never underestimate the power of a havoc word. With one word, Satan can strip a soul bare. He and his cohorts have wrecked the lives of multitudes through words. When for example, a person responds to the words ‘stop’ or ‘reverse’ spoken by the enemy it can spell the termination of progress in that life. When such words as ‘guilty’ or ‘condemned’ are pronounced upon one, a person with an enviable background, brilliant credentials, great potentials, and bright prospects could instantaneously lose everything. Words such as ‘dead’, ‘dry’, ‘drown’ or ‘grave’ can abort hopeful futures and produce terrible effects. You must begin to delete every negative word from your life’s vocabulary and learn to declare God’s Words over your life’s situations.

There is a Word above all words. The Name JESUS is One Word that can paralyze all enemy forces ganging up against you and compel heaven and earth to deliver your needed blessings. At the mention of that Name diseases disappear, death is defeated, and destinies shine. In the Name of JESUS, let every powerful word working against your destiny be terminated!
