Whoever offers praise glorifies Me… – Psalm 50:23
God is the Focus of Praise. To praise God is to be preoccupied with Him. Praise is a Preoccupation with who God is, what He has done, and what He is going to do! The heart filled with praise brings delight and pleasure to God. The brief six-versed Psalm 150 has the word “Praise” mentioned a dozen times and the phrase “Praise Him…”, “Praise God…” or “Praise the Lord” also a dozen times. That means: Praise is all about God. It’s a privilege to be called upon to praise the LORD!
Praise does not focus on circumstances, events and happenings. God’s Praise is not limited by space. He could be praised in His sanctuary or even in His mighty firmament (v.1). There is no want of reason to praise God: He is to be praised for His mighty acts and according to His excellent greatness (v.2). Praise is focusing on God’s faithfulness and Glory. It is focusing on the integrity of God, and doing so with all that is at our disposal: the sound of the trumpet, psaltery and harp, timbrel and dance, stringed instruments and flutes, loud cymbals, high sounding cymbals, and all that is within us (vv.3-5).
Praise is heavenly. Even though our songs may sound discordant, the Heavenly Father listens and hears with paternal delight. However feeble our voices may be, their flow pleases the heart of the Divine Listener more than the finest rendition of earth’s greatest orchestra. Through praise, we actively participate in the glorious symphony of heaven; we contribute to the harmony of angelic hosts and redeemed saints (Rev.5:9; 15:3).
All of our praises to the Almighty God on this side of eternity are but rehearsals ahead of His endless praises and worship in eternity. Praise is an indispensable preparation for the worship that will be our eternal joy. Moreover, Praise is proof of God’s breath in you: “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD” (v.6). Oh, that you and I will joyfully participate in the adoration that delights the Father’s heart, while we eagerly await our endless participation in heaven’s symphony of praise.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
