“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. FOR THIS PURPOSE the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” – 1 John 3:8
Life is maximised when we discover and live by PURPOSE – THE ‘WHY’ of LIFE: “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. FOR THIS PURPOSE the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” (1 Jh.3:8). The Lord Jesus Christ is our Ultimate Model of Purpose. He was manifested “to take away our sins” and “destroy the works of the devil” (vv.5,8). Again, He declared in John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, and simultaneously give abundant Life to those who hitherto had been under the dominion of the devil and hosts of darkness: “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil; for God was with Him” (Acts 10:38).
There was an occasion when Jesus amplified the Purpose of His coming – the “WHY” of His manifestation. That was the day He entered into the temple, picked up the scrolls of Isaiah and began to proclaim what the Old Testament Prophet had spoken concerning Him: “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD” (Lk.4:18-19). In the pattern of Jesus, the WHY of your Life is already written “in the volume of the book” (Heb.10:7) It’s your responsibility to dig deep and discover it!
The essence of human existence lies not in just staying alive, but in finding something of value to live for. I guess that we each have had to pause at certain junctures in life and thought about the question: “WHY am I here? What is my reason for being?” We each have a unique purpose in life. The question then becomes: “To what extent are we fulfilling life’s purpose?” W. Clement Stone said: “Definiteness of purpose is the starting point of all achievement.” Success demands singleness of Purpose. When you have a purpose, you have a definite reason for living, a “WHY” behind every choice, decision, and action. With purpose in place, your passions and talents will be directed toward a fulfilling destination. The possession of purpose makes it impossible to merely exist; it takes you beyond survival and subsistence, into realms of significance.
God put us on planet earth as well as in distinct locations, vocations, occupations or professions, for unique reasons and definite Purposes. And apart from the overall greatest Purpose of living for God’s Glory, we all have distinct reasons for being. We must be inspired to live according to our God-ordained Purpose. When we dig deep enough in the Book and also in our hearts, we shall find and discover purpose. As surely as a child breathes, he or she will someday wonder, What is the Purpose of my life? Every thinking being has a longing for meaning and a quest for purpose. When you find your WHY, you must also find a way to make it happen! There is no excuse for failure. You must align with your purpose daily, live life to the fullest, and never give up. Abraham Lincoln said: “Nothing will divert me from my purpose”!
It’s high time you prayerfully reflect and become inspired to discover and maximise your life’s Purpose! These are principal steps toward living a truly conscious and positively progressive life. Discovering your purpose is one of the most significant things you will do in life, such that, you, your loved ones, and the world will be better off because you went on this journey.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
