Bible Meditation:
Genesis 41: 38-42

And Pharaoh said unto his servants. Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom the Spirit of God is…? – Genesis 41:38

“The church of the Lord Jesus Christ is figuratively called His BODY. We are yet to see such specialization duplicated to such a high degree as in humans. Each component part of the human body is so specialized. The HEART pumps blood round the body every day, every week, every month for about sixty to eighty years without stopping. What an organ with a purpose! The heart is not competing with the brain nor is it competing with the fingers. It has discovered its purpose and is excelling in that.

All known servants of God were excellent in their fields. Those who became prophets were excellent prophets. Musicians were excellent musicians. Administrators were excellent administrators. Once PURPOSE was discovered and proved, EXCELLENCE resulted. Jesus was a carpenter before He became a preacher. We remember Him for His words. Paul was a tent maker and also a preacher. We remember him for his sermons and letters. Once God reveals your purpose to you, He has given you an opportunity to excel. MEDIOCRITY is a sign of ignorance of divine purpose. One of my favourite portions of scripture is Gen. 41:38-42

And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;

Joseph – he never lost the vision of leadership, he never compromised his purpose and as such a spirit of excellence was markedly displayed on him. He had no time to fast and pray for his promotion. When it came he was READY and he PERFORMED. Will you be READY to PERFORM when called upon?”

Prayer:
Lord, let the discovery of divine purpose nullify mediocrity, prepare me for promotion and provoke me to excellence in all dimensions of life!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
