Bible Meditation:
Psalm 119:1-16

Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart! Psalm 119:2 (NKJV)

What are you pursuing in life? What is the one thing that your heart is longing for? Is it a retirement mansion? Is it a charming spouse? Is it to reach the pinnacle of your professional career? We all have big and small things that we are pursuing every day of our lives, and our actions betray what we really want. The big question is: where does the pursuit of Wisdom fall on your list? Is the gaining of wisdom high on your Priority list of the treasures you are seeking? Actually, your daily life will reveal your pursuit. How you live reveals what you treasure and what you are seeking or pursuing.

Although the first chapter of Proverbs shows that Wisdom is hot on the trail of our hearts, pursuing us like heaven’s hound, we also have the responsibility to return God’s favour by pursuing Wisdom. Wisdom pursues us and we are to pursue wisdom. It is like the way you breathe: in and out. With every breath you are to call out for wisdom and every moment you take a breath, wisdom is also calling out for you. Make this your prayer: “With my whole heart I have sought You: Oh let me not wander from Your commandments” (Psa.119:10). Seek and pursue Wisdom with passion: If You seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures (Pro.2:4).

David was an Inquirer after God’s Mind and a Seeker of Wisdom; no wonder he was a wise and victorious Warrior-King! He was a Man of ‘One Thing’: “One thing I have desired of the LORD, that will I SEEK: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to INQUIRE in His temple” (Psa.27:4). His double Victory over the Philistines at Baal Perazim and in the Valley of Rephaim was a function of his pursuit of Wisdom. As he consistently inquired from the LORD, God delivered to him the strategic wisdom for victory in warfare (2Sam.5:18-25).

Wisdom does not jump on you: the intensity and quality of pursuit determines the quality of wisdom you contact, display, and demonstrate. Stop guessing through life. When you check things out with God first, you’re never checked out. As you engage in the persistent pursuit of Wisdom, you are never stranded where you are. You will always hear what wisdom has to say and you can always call out for wisdom to speak to you! Now, make that commitment to engage in the holy Pursuit of Wisdom!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
