“Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever” – 1 Peter 1:23
God will have us learn about SEEDS of GLORY. Christ is the Personification of the Incorruptible Seed (1Pet.1:23). Every dealing of God’s with humanity follows the Seed-Time-Harvest principle: seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease” (Gen.8:22). Wherever God expects a harvest of Glory, He plants a Seed of Glory. Throughout scripture God places significance on the seed (Gal. 6:7). God trusts you with a seed in order to trust you with the harvest (2 Cor. 9:10). The purpose of life is to manifest the glory that begins as a seed within. There is no higher aim in life than to fully mature and release the glory God deposited in you.
Yesterday, we meditated on the truth of Christ in You – the Hope of Glory. What this really means is that: Christ is GOD’S SEED in YOU with an EXPECTATION of the HARVEST of GLORY! Life is always in seed-form. When Christ – the eternal, incorruptible Seed – was crucified and died on Calvary’s cross, upon His resurrection, the Life in Him was released to “whosoever wills” (Jh. 12: 24). Christ in you is not just to make you happy and excited. He is not residing in you merely for want of a place to rest and sleep. Christ is in you with an expectation, a thirst, a longing and a goal: that you will cooperate with Him to reveal and manifest His glory to all creation through you! This is God’s ultimate goal on this side of eternity: “The earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea” (Hab.2:14).
Christ is the Greatest Seed of Glory, but not the only seed. God planted “seeds of glory” – potential – in all created species. The seeds of great cedar trees contain their glory and conceal their full weight. Its glory is exposed in the mighty cedar tree. The butterfly is the full bloom of glory of the caterpillar. The eaglet hides the seed of glory that matures into the eagle. The boy accommodates the glory within of a full-grown man; the baby, an adult. That’s why the destruction of a seed is the death of a tree. The suppression of potential is the retardation of glory. God has put treasures in us. We carry glory in jars of clay: “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us” (2Cor.4:7).
Every invention is a manifestation of glory. The works of a musician, an artist or an architect constitute the public exposure of his or her private glory. Whatever is your gift, talent or potential is a seed of glory, given to fill your domain of the earth! Glory is the full manifestation of your purpose – of your nature through your works. You are created to glorify God through the PRODUCTIVITY of your works; hence, you cannot be lazy and reveal glory. When you use your GIFTS to realize your God-given VISION or PURPOSE, you are manifesting a temporal dimension of God’s glory. So, ask yourself: “What invention, work of art, ministry, business, product or service lies as untapped glory within me?” It’s time for such to manifest!
There are other seeds of glory apart from human potentials: seeds of time, talents, anointing, devotion, and finances, all of which produce glorious harvests. Most importantly, godly children are “Seeds of Glory”: “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward….” (Psa.127:3). This is God’s promise to the blessed man: “His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed” (Psa.112:2, kjv). Proverbs 17:6 also says “Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.” This means that children can only aspire as far as the “glory” they see reflected through the parents! Beloved, how responsive are you to God’s seeds of glory deposited in you and invested in your life?

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
