And declared to be THE SON OF GOD WITH POWER, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: – Romans 1:4
Jesus Christ was “declared to be THE SON OF GOD WITH POWER, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead” (Rom.1:4). Power characterised and authenticated His Divine Sonship! His incarnation, birth, ministry, death, and resurrection were all saturated by Supernatural Power. His conception was supernatural: “And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon thee, and the POWER of the Highest will overshadow you: therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God” (Lk.1:35). An extraordinary miracle occurred when God sent His only Son to earth as a Man to reveal Him as our heavenly Father, and to demonstrate that He is still the supernatural God who heals and delivers. Jesus – God in the flesh – performed outstanding miracles (Acts 1:1b). Here are few of the diverse Miracles that demonstrate Jesus’ Wonder-working Power.
Jesus’ first recorded miracle was to turn water into wine at a marriage feast: “This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed Him” (Jh.2:1-11). Miracles manifest His glory and stir up our faith.
Jesus healed a centurion’s servant. He believed that if the Lord could “only speak a word,” his servant who was lying at home paralyzed would be healed. Jesus commended His “great faith,” spoke the word, “and his servant was healed that same hour” (Mt.8:5-13). There is no distance barrier to God’s miracle-working power. A word from Him is enough: “He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psa.107:20)
Jesus healed ten lepers who met Him in a certain village en-route Jerusalem. They lifted up their voices and pleaded for Mercy, and as they responded to His command of faith to go show themselves to the priest, they were cleansed. Notably, only one of them returned to give thanks to the Lord (Lk.17:11-19).
Jesus healed a paralytic man whom “men brought on a bed” through the roof of a house: “So when He SAW their FAITH,” He moved to make the man whole (Lk.5:17-26). Again, this miracle glorified God: “they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today!” God still does amazing and “strange things” to glorify His Name!
Jesus straightened the back of a woman who had been bent for eighteen years under the bondage of Satan (Lk.13:10-17). God still delivers those who believe, from long-term bondages!
In one day, Jesus delivered a man in the synagogue who had an unclean spirit; healed Peter’s mother-in-law of a fever; and later “healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons” (Mk.1:29-34). The following day, He continued “in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and casting out demons” (Mk.1:35-39).
Jesus healed a deaf mute by inserting His fingers in his ears, spitting and touching his tongue, and commanding “Ephphatha” – “Be opened” (Mk.7:31-37). Those who witnessed this miracle “were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak” (v.37).
Jesus healed a blind beggar named Bartimaeus, by the side of the road in Jericho. Although many warned him to be quiet, “he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Mercy released Bartimaeus from blindness and begging (Mk.10:46-52).
Jesus multiplied few bread and fish to feed five thousand people (Mk.6:30-44). He walked on water (Mt.14:22-33). He provided money from the mouth of a fish (Mt.17:24-27). He delivered a tormented man from a “legion” of demons (Mk.5:1-20). He raised the son of the widow of Nain and Lazarus who was dead for four days, from the dead (Lk.7:11-17; Jh.11).
Above all, the Son of God surrendered to the cross, died for our sins, descended into hell, took the keys of death from Satan, and was bodily raised from the dead before ascending to heaven and sending us the Holy Spirit. Now, we who believe in Him have access into the miracle- and wonder-working Power of His Resurrection!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
