“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is BORN of the Spirit is spirit” – John 3:6
Today, we’ll delve a little deeper into the nature of ‘Man’ as a Spirit Being – especially as a SPIRIT-BORN, one who has been BORN of the Spirit! The question “WHO AM I” has haunted and taunted fallen humanity for ages, and still does not have a satisfying answer for many. The reason is simple: they do not like or may not truly want the answer to this question. This is a truth that when fully grasped has the potential of making incredible impact on our daily lives. Many of the questions that seem to be hard to answer will become evident, once we acknowledge the truth about the spiritual reality of the human being. The human identity is not in the faculties of our soul, mind or body, but in our nature as spiritual beings. The human being is essentially a spirit that has a soul, and lives in and through a body (1The.5:23). As a human being created by God, you are a spirit being. As a Believer in Christ, born-again by grace through faith in Him, you were Spirit-born!
This truth is more critical to the Believer in Christ, because we have been born anew into the spiritual realm. The words of the Lord Jesus Christ in John 3:6 testify that we have been born of God – “born of the Spirit” – and bear His divine nature. You must reckon with the truth that you are a spirit-being, dealing with a Father-God who operates in that realm, and living a spiritual life, while simultaneously relating to the natural world through your soul and body. That is the key to experiencing a consistently victorious life. A person who is more conscious of the physical than the spiritual, may be puzzled when God says that He has already healed him, yet he still feels and sees disease in his body; or when God says, “I have blessed you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places” and it doesn’t look like it (Eph.1:3). When God says you are “a new creation, old things passed away and behold old things have become new” do you expect to feel it first in your emotions or body?
As a spirit, your life is governed by the principles of the spiritual realm, and you have the privilege and birth right to activate and super-impose the virtues of the spiritual on your earthly day-to-day living. As a spirit-born, you have divine access into the supernatural realms. You have the potential to be a partaker “of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world” (2Pet.1:4b). For example, to partake in divine healing or to enjoy divine health is not an ordinary natural process. Casting out demons is not a normal, everyday physical event. Walking in faith, love, holiness, and purity are foreign to man’s natural tendencies. Divine prosperity is not a natural phenomenon. Your glory as a believer, to live a life above the natural, is in your ability to release the power of the Holy Spirit by aligning your natural life with the virtues of the higher spiritual realm. The Word and the Spirit of God have been given to train us in this new life that is “alien” to us.
We cannot go contrary to spiritual principles and expect victorious living. Sin is a spiritual “cancer” that will always eat up whoever lives in it without applying Jesus’s blood for cleansing. Bitterness, resentment, and un-forgiveness are poisons to the spirit that’ll dry up one’s body, finances, and relationships and create a breathing ground for demons to torment a life. Faith is a spiritual substance that unleashes God’s power and subdues all other powers known to humanity. Beloved, the more understanding you have that you are really a spirit-being, governed by the principles of the spiritual realm, and the more you adhere to God’s Word, the more glorious your life will be in every respect. Take time to meditate on these truths, for meditation allows your spirit to absorb God’s Word, otherwise, it may stay only in your head and produce no results.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
