Bible Meditation:
2 Corinthians 3: 1-18

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our SUFFICIENCY is from God 2 Corinthians 3:5

Concerning possessing our possessions, “our SUFFICIENCY is from God”! In Him, we have Promises of Plenty, not lack or scarcity. Your outlook on God determines His output in your life, and your outcome in destiny! We live in days that try the faith of men – days that reveal the depths of fear and insecurity in the hearts of men (Lk.21:26). But as a believer, God in you is greater than the devil in the world (1Jh.4:4). The torment of fear should have no hold on the heart of the true believer. Becoming a child of God is the beginning of the overcoming life (1Jh.5:4). God will not be limited in your life if you’ll commit to Him every aspect of life: your academics, career, health, marriage, home, family, finances, business, and ministry.

God is sufficient for you at all times and in all ways. Your sufficiency is not in yourself, other people or material possessions, pleasures or positions. Here are Five Dimensions of God’s Sufficiency:

Sufficient for Survival and Sustenance: The Lord knows the days of the upright, and their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied(Psa.37:18-19). According to 2Corinthians 9:8, God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” Such were the testimonies of Elijah and the widow of Zarephath: The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah” (1Kgs. 17:1-16).

Sufficient for Strength: I have strength for all things in Christ who empowers me (Phil.4:13). Even in weakness I am made strong. Gideon was apparently not aware of the strength in him until God commanded him: “go in this your might” (Jud.6:12-14). God will show Himself mighty through weak men and women who lean hard on His strength and grace (1Cor.1:26-29). He will send me help from His sanctuary, and strengthen me out of Zion (Psa.20:2). Therefore, I can affirm: The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psa.27:1).

Sufficient for Supernatural Security: God is my refuge and strength; a very present ‘Help’ in trouble, not an ‘emergency’ one (Psa.46:1). He neither sleeps nor slumbers (Psa.121:4). Trusting in Him, I will not be afraid of evil tidings, because my heart is established (Psa.112:7-8). His word assures me: Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; the fear of the Lord is His treasure” (Isa.33:6).

Sufficient for Success and Satisfaction: God sent me to planet earth; hence He is committed to my successful and satisfactory fulfillment of destiny (Jos.1:8). God will turn every barrier of Satan into a bridge for me to cross over into divine enlargement. He is sufficient for my Satisfaction: “How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light” (Psa.36:7-9).

Sufficient to Silence the Storms: In God, I have sufficient grace to still all storms and tame all tempests. David sang this in prayer: Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I” (Psa.61:1-2). Psalm 89:9 says: “You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves rise, You still them.”  Psalm 93:4 also affirms, “The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, than the mighty waves of the sea” The Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated God’s dominion over life’s storms (Mt.8:23-27).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
