THE SUPERNATURAL LIFE (3)

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit – John 3:6

Whereas the first Adam lost his position to sin and was disrobed of glory, Jesus Christ – the last Adam – has restored dominion through His work of redemption (Rom.5:17; 1 Cor.15:45). Jesus guarantees and quickens Man’s re-enthronement to the supernatural realms. The Lord Jesus came on a mission to restore man from a fallen, perishing state, to the life of God which Adam lost to Satan. Through the new birth, we can once again live supernaturally on earth!

The first mention of being born again in the Bible was related to SUPERNATURAL LIVING. This is the major identification mark of the new birth. The believer, at new birth, steps out of the ordinary into the extra-ordinary. The new creation in Christ has God’s supernatural nature within. If you are born-again, you can live by the power of God at work IN YOU: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us (Eph.3:20).

Those born of the Spirit of God belong to the extraordinary class of people. We have God’s divine nature: According as his DIVINE POWER hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the DIVINE NATURE… (2Pet.1:3-4). We call divine forces into operation like the wind. We are to exhibit God’s nature in our daily lives. Understanding our divine nature is the key to operating in the supernatural – operating like God in the affairs of life!
