SUPERNATURAL SUPPLIES

“And my God shall SUPPLY ALL your need according to HIS RICHES IN GLORY by Christ Jesus” – Philippians 4:19

Let’s recall that this is our month of the Fullness of SUPERNATURAL SUPPLIES and Riches: “And my God shall SUPPLY ALL your need according to HIS RICES IN GLORY by Christ Jesus” (Phil.4:19). The Lord desires and has designed that we experience, encounter, and enjoy the Supernatural Supplies of eternal blessings – the diverse Riches and Resources of Redemption. Today, we’ll introduce seven of these, and expound on each in the coming days.

Supernatural Supply of Life: “…I have come that they may have LIFE, and that they may have it more abundantly” (Jh.10:10b). The supernatural life is for all who are born of the Spirit of God, and we are to exhibit God’s nature in daily life.

Supernatural Supply of the Spirit: “For I know that this will turn out for my salvation through your prayer and the SUPPLY of the SPIRIT of Jesus Christ” (Phil1:19). The Spirit of Christ that Paul refers to here is the Holy Spirit. He’s saying, in effect: “In spite of all my personal trials, the Holy Spirit is flowing through me. I know that all these humiliations and rejections, all the pain and suffering, will do me no harm. Rather, the Lord is using it all to work out a glorious plan for my deliverance.”

Supernatural Supply of Mercy: “But God, who is RICH in MERCY, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ…” (Eph.2:4-5a). Mercy is not receiving what we do deserve. We deserve to go to hell, but by Mercy we shall never go there, and this Mercy is never a scarce resource with God. Therefore I can plainly proclaim: “Surely, goodness and MERCY shall follow me all the days of my life…” (Psa.23:6).

Supernatural Supply of Grace: “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the RICHES of HIS GRACE” (Eph.1:7). God is not only rich in Mercy, but also in Grace. G.R.A.C.E. stands for God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. Grace is receiving from God what we don’t deserve. We don’t deserve to go to heaven, but by His grace we’ll spend eternity there. Mercy saved us from hell. Grace will empower us here on earth and admit us to heaven!

Supernatural Supply of Favour: “For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with FAVOR You will surround him as with a shield” (Psa.5:12). The divine Flow of Favour is the portion of the righteous. We are connected to the infinite Fountain of Favour; and His unlimited supply of Favour gives Flavour to our lives: “For with You is the fountain of life…” (Psa.36:9a). Favour is the divine current that carries the righteous from present seasons into our future dreams. Favour is having God’s “face” shining upon a person; God giving singular attention and audience to him or her (Num.6:22-27).

Supernatural Supply of Strength: “The LORD will give STRENGTH to His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace” (Psa.29:11). David declared:: “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear. The LORD is the STRENGTH of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psa.27:1). And again, “God is our refuge and STRENGTH, a very present help in trouble” (Psa.46:1). I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phil.4:13).

Supernatural Supply of Power: “But as many as received Him, to them gave He POWER to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name” (Jh.1:12). Shortly before His ascension, the Lord Jesus proclaimed the Promise of Power: “Behold, I send the Promise of My father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with POWER FROM ON HIGH” (Lk.24:49). With the release of the Holy Spirit, we can now operate on higher dimensions of Power: “But you shall receive POWER when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
