SUPERNATURAL SUPPLY OF FAVOUR

“For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with FAVOR You will surround him as with a shield” – Psalm 5:12

God is profusely rich in the SUPERNATURAL SUPPLY of FAVOUR: “For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with FAVOR You will surround him as with a shield” (Psa.5:12). In the above scripture, the Lord says His favour on His people is like a shield wrapped around them! He wants us to agree with His Word and see ourselves encompassed with His favour. The flow of Favour is the portion of the righteous. God’s favour is reserved for God’s people. His favour can put us in contact with people we ordinarily would not encounter. It can open doors and take us to places we’ve only dreamed of, doing things we never thought possible. God’s favour can even cause us to be at peace with our enemies that they may end up blessing us: “When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him” (Pro.16:7).

Believers are divinely connected to the infinite Fountain of Favour. This gives Flavour to our lives: “For with You is the fountain of life…” (Psa.36:9a). God’s favour working on the believer’s behalf is an awesome example of His power and love manifested in and through us. God desires that we succeed in every area of your life, and we will need His favour to do so. Divine favour is an essential ingredient in the life of every Believer to live the overflowing, abundant, and victorious life that Jesus came to give us: “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (Jh.10:10b).

We serve the God of Favour – He who can make a pathway through the Sea, release water from the heart of the rock and manna from the sky, and give direction by a cloud during the day and pillar of fire by night. Favour is the divine current that carries the righteous from present seasons into future dreams. Favour is the golden river that lifts us from the pit to our palace, as it did Joseph (Gen.37: 26-28, 36; 39:1-6, 21-23). Rarely can we reach our God-given destiny without His favour. Regrettably, some believers have hardly comprehended the essence of God’s favour, much less experienced it in their lives.

Favour is having God’s “face” shining upon a person; God giving singular attention to one (Num.6:22-27; Psa. 67:1). Favour is for God to grant you special audience (Ps.40:1-3). It is for God to identify and hand-pick you in the multitude as was the case with the man with infirmity of thirty-eight years by the pool of Bethesda (Jh.5:1-6). David prayed: “Make Your face shine upon Your servant; save me for Your mercies’ sake” (Psa.31:16). Divine favour is an exciting, free gift from God. It’s part of our inheritance to do great and mighty exploits for Him and His Kingdom. Favour brings supernatural increase, promotion, restoration, honour and many other benefits.

Favour is not only a gift, but it is a spiritual force – a law that works every time a Believer applies it. Understanding that you have a right to God’s favour will enhance your faith to move mountains. Prior impossibilities that seemed insurmountable will become possible. You won’t accept lack, defeat, sickness or living below your God-given means. You will choose to walk by faith and not by sight as you understand the purpose of manifesting God’s favour in your life. As you access God’s divine favour by faith, you can watch your life soar to new levels of distinction and fulfilment.

Favour is uncommon divine interest. It is not a mere, incidental, chance event. It is a tangible divine force and input to the fulfilment of your destiny. Favour bends times, seasons, and situations for good. It answered to Joseph, Ruth, Esther, Mordecai and Daniel in strange lands. It shall answer to you! When you are connected to the supernatural supply of Favour, the devil’s grip on your life cannot remain. The enemy’s lying schemes are destroyed, in Jesus name. Welcome to the season of Divine Favour! God is ready to arise and scatter your enemies (Psalm 68:1)!
