Bible Meditation:
Romans 5: 1-21

For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive ABUNDANCE of GRACE and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. – Romans 5:17

God is abundantly rich in the Supernatural Supply of Grace: “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the RICHES of HIS GRACE” (Eph.1:7). G.R.A.C.E. stands for God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense.

Grace is divine enablement freely made available to man (Eph.3:20). God gives Grace as He pleases, and commensurate with His Purpose and gifts: “But to each one of us GRACE was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift” (Eph.4:7).

Grace is divine input that covers up for our human limitations: “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness….” (2 Cor.12:9a).

Grace is supernatural enablement of our gifts, talents, and callings. Grace adds charisma to your calling, making our gifts outstanding. It turns the common into the commendable. The transforming power of grace turned Esther into a Star, and Peter the unlettered into an apostle! Paul spoke of the transforming power of Grace (1Cor.15:10).

Every blessing and benefit we receive from God is by grace. Every action, effort or output that’ll command divine attention and approval must be by Grace. Sadly, many Christians do not live by grace. Many attempt to live victoriously by merely doing all that they can by their own human resources, hoping to achieve victory through self-effort. This always proves inadequate, because Victory comes by the Grace of the Lord (1Cor.15:57). “Give and receive” is the language of Grace; whereas, “earn and achieve” is the language of law and human effort. Jesus, filled with overflowing grace, came to man's rescue. “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of GRACE and truth” (Jh.1:14). Grace is God’s unmerited favour, personalized in the Lord Jesus Christ!

The story is told of an elderly couple who lived modestly for years on their small farm. Though the land didn’t appear to be the best, they always had enough to survive. Eventually they sold the farm to a developer. Working on a hunch, the new owner decided to drill and discovered a stupendous supply of oil. For years, the couple had lived on untold wealth and never knew what they were missing. That story illustrates how many believers live – oblivious of the vast riches they possess in Jesus Christ by grace. Trusting in Christ as Saviour ushers us into the Palace of Grace: for salvation, justification (full forgiveness), sanctification (the process of growing in Christ-likeness), and the indwelling Presence of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus, every believer has an infinite treasury of wisdom, knowledge, strength, and a diverse range of blessings.

The God of Grace provides insight and wisdom that cuts through the fog of confusion. He releases Peace and contentment beyond human understanding. In Christ, we lack nothing. His immeasurable love and power are available for every trial, decision, and challenge. The riches of Grace are eternal. Money can’t buy them, and death can’t take them away. We are redeemed, reconciled, and freed from the law. No longer are we orphans; instead, we’ve been adopted into God’s family as beloved children of the heavenly Father, sealed and set apart for Him (Eph.4:30). We have no reason to live like paupers.

However, the riches of Grace are not simply about feeling rich or accumulating possessions, but are essentially about abundant spiritual blessings that form a formidable foundation for material prosperity: “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich (2Cor.8:9). For all who have been saved by grace, there is a victorious life to be lived by humble dependence on the “abundance of grace.” This is what it means to “REIGN in Life” (v.17). The God of all Grace will perfect, establish, strengthen and settle us (1Pet.5:10). May we never have cause to frustrate, despise, or disgrace God’s Grace, in Jesus name!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
