SUPERNATURAL SUPPLY OF STRENGTH

“The LORD will give STRENGTH to His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace” – Psalm 29:11

God’s wants us to continually tap into SUPERNATURAL SUPPLY of STRENGTH: “The LORD will give Strength to His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace” (Psa.29:11). The Strength we need to carry on comes from the LORD! We need to surrender to the Strength that only God provides. Whatever challenges we may be facing, it is not our strength that is needed but the Strength that God willingly supplies. David declared: “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear. The LORD is the STRENGTH of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psa.27:1). Again, “God is our refuge and STRENGTH, a very present help in trouble” (Psa.46:1).

It is so refreshing to know that we can rest in God’s Strength when facing diverse trials. He desires to show Himself strong as we surrender to Him and let His peace take over.: “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars” (2Chr.16:9). We cannot fully serve God without full surrender to His Strength. Paul revealed the secret of His highly productive ministry: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil.4:13).

Scriptures abound that invigorate the Believer with Strength:

Isaiah 40: 28-31 says, “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 41:10 says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”

David and Paul are two of the many biblical examples of Strength supplied from God:

David: “Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God” (1Sam.30:6).

Paul: “But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hea…” (2Tim.4:17a).

God’s Supernatural Supply of Strength comes through FAITH, never by fear: “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you” (Dt.31:6). Are you struggling through challenging situations and grasping for answers? God wants you to respond with faith and not fear. His Grace perfects Strength in weakness: “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for MY STRENGTH is made perfect in weakness,” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” (2Cor.12:9). As you hand over your natural weakness to the Lord, He’ll replace it with divine Strength!

JOY is the key proof that of the Faith that unlocks the Supply of Strength: “Do not sorrow, for the JOY of the LORD is your STRENGTH” (Neh.8:10b). Joy is a vital divine channel for the Supply of Strength. The attitudes of gratitude and joy will guarantee the Supply of Strength. The Joy of the Lord shields and strengthens you against the adversary’s condemnation. However tough your situation or challenging your circumstances, the Lord is assuring you: You shall neither sorrow nor weep; but you shall rejoice, for the Joy of the LORD is your Strength.“Finally my brethren, be strong in the LORD…” (Eph.6:10a).
