SUPERNATURAL VICTORY (4)

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” – 1 Corinthians 15:57 

For Believers in Christ, the Power of His Resurrection is the Ultimate Manifestation of SUPERNATURAL VICTORY: “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Cor.15:57). Human achievement is completely powerless against the finality of decay, biological aging, and death. Every earthly accomplishment or victory won by human strength is eventually swallowed up by time. However, the Resurrection Model of Divine Performance can completely reverse this natural susceptibility and human vulnerability.

Apostle Paul reveals that the ultimate display of Divine Power will happen in the twinkling of an eye, when mortal bodies put on immortality (vv.51-52). At the last trumpet, the dead will be raised incorruptible, reversing centuries of bodily decay in an instant. If God can reanimate dust into glory, no dead situation in our lives is too far gone for Him to revive. Paul therefore boldly taunting death asked, "O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?" (v.55). Because the sting of death (sin) was neutralized at the cross, the grave lost its holding capacity. Supernatural Victory strips life’s challenges of their ability to debar, humiliate, overwhelm, or harm us.

Supernatural Victory is a finished product of Grace. It is not an award we labour to earn, but an inheritance we are authorized to receive. By Christ’s decisive conquest of death, the ultimate human limitation, every lesser battle in our lives has already been given a legal verdict of triumph: “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us” (Rom.8:37). This is the basis for our mandate: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” (v.58). With victory secured, our labour in the Lord is never in vain. We do not fight for victory; we stand firmly and fight from a position of established victory. The “More Than Conqueror" Mindset knows that the final outcome has been decided in our favour!

Our assurance of Supernatural Victory should fuel our consistency. We must not allow shifting cultural trends or unfavorable economic reports to sway our commitment to God. Victory is not the absence of warfare; it is the enforcement of the legal triumph that was already won at the cross. When we fight from an established victory, obstacles are not barriers to be feared, but platforms for our public coronation.

In Jesus’ Name, I affirm that:

By the Resurrection Power in Christ, I do not fight for a breakthrough; I operate from a position of finished triumph.

Every dead, decaying, or dormant area of life is ignited. The sting of failure, sickness, and financial shame is neutralized in my life.

I am steadfast, unmovable, and heavily defended against satanic arrows. Christ conquered the grave, no limitation can hold him down. 

My labour, investments, and professional efforts will never be in vain. I walk daily in the reality of being more than a conqueror in all things.
