Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; for the LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught – Proverbs 3:25-26
“You shall not be afraid of the terror by night…” (Psa.91:5). The word ‘Terror’ denotes: extreme fear, dread, horror, panic or trepidation; intense, sharp, overmastering fear; something that causes very strong feelings of fear; something that is terrifying. However terrible or terrifying the things that happen in the night might be, the righteous need not be agitated, fretful or fearful. When you have committed yourself and your family and loved ones to the care and protection of God by prayer, you have no reason to be anxious or fret about these things, or to indulge in slavish fear about them.
The “terror by night” describes a night attack by an enemy. Night contains the congenial hours of horrors, when fears turn the sweet season of repose into one of dread. Night is the usual time for evil occurrences such as fire disasters, storms, tempests, thefts, robberies, enemy invasions and murder: Of course these also happen during the day, but workers of evil find it more convenient to perform such diabolical practices under the cover of darkness – at night; and they usually obtain more devastating impact at night! It is the habit of the enemy of our souls to sow tares among the wheat at night – “while men slept” (Mt.13:25). Praise God, the Keeper of Israel does not slumber or sleep (Psa.121:4).
These are few of God’s assurances, which must be become our boldness and confidence of faith:
Praise the Lord! Your blessed communion with Him makes you impervious to midnight frights, and horrors of darkness. God’s Word exhorts that you be not afraid of sudden terror or of trouble. Rather, let Him “be your confidence” (Pro.3:25-26). You will notice that the Scripture doesn't say there won’t be threats of snares, wasting, destruction, pestilence and terror. It says they will always happen but you can be assured that evil will not come near you because you live in the secret place of the Most High.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
