Bible Meditation:
Hebrews 9: 11-22

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience...Hebrews 9:14

Not only Redemption, but also Revival is closely linked to UNDERSTANDING the BLOOD of JESUS and its Power: “Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (Heb.9:12-14). The Blood and the Spirit are entwined! Jesus gave Himself and shed His Blood “through the eternal Spirit.” In turn, it’s by the outpoured Blood of the Lamb that the gift of the Holy Spirit was purchased. The Blood is the Price of Freedom and Liberty in the Spirit.

It is the Blood of Jesus that cleans our conscience from sin (vv.13-14). By the Blood, we receive a new conscience that desires to serve and obey God and enjoys pleasing Him. No wonder, revivals that saw fresh outpourings of the Spirit of God upon humble folks have been known to actively extol the Blood of Jesus! In many instances, as believers reverently pleaded the Blood, they were filled with the Holy Spirit. Many past revivals greatly honoured the precious Blood and lauded “The Lamb of God.” The Living Church needs fresh awakening and quickened understanding of the Power of the Blood of Jesus Christ. To those who plead the Blood of the Lamb – not mechanically, but in true holy reverence – there shall be revival and restoration of all that had been consumed, followed by the Outpouring of God’s Spirit (Joel 2:25,28).

It was the Holy Spirit that empowered Jesus to offer Himself as the Perfect Sacrifice to God for us. The holy Blood of the sinless Son of God, was poured out to atone for our sins so that we could have a new relationship with God – the New Covenant (v.20). It is the Blood of Jesus that seals this covenant. His Blood makes us holy and worthy to receive God’s Holy Spirit in us and be led by Him (Rom.8:14-15). By the Blood of Jesus, we’ve been set free from sin and its hold. His Blood makes us Holy Spirit-conscious, God-conscious, causing us to walk in the Light of His fellowship. Just as the priests of old applied the blood, we as New Testament priests are to always apply the Blood of Jesus!

The Blood of Jesus is a most vital, yet seldom wielded weapon in the Believer’s arsenal (Rev.12:11). He “Who loved us and washed us from our sins IN HIS OWN BLOOD” is the same that “has made us kings and priests to His God and Father” (Rev.1: 5-6). It’s all by the Blood!

Prayer:
Lord, cause us to grow in UNDERSTANDING the BLOOD of JESUS, learning to extol and plead the Blood as Kings and Priests, in Jesus’ Name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
