Bible Meditation:
Luke 22:54-62

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness – 1 John 1:9

There is a menu key on every computer device that allows you backtrack when you’ve made a mistake. It’s called the “UNDO” key. This is a higher technology than the archaic application of a manual eraser, which often leaves traces of the error. Have you ever wished for such a key in the unfolding reality of your life? Have you ever imagined having a provision to reverse, repair, or restore those aspects of your life that have been broken by wrong choices or damaged by sin? God has the divine technology to UNDO every error, rectify every mistake, and restore us to righteousness, as if we never erred!

After Jesus’ arrest, Peter, one of His beloved disciples, denied three times that he knew Him. The Bible records that, “the Lord turned and looked at” him; and Peter “went out and wept bitterly” (Lk.22:61-62). He must have shed tears of shame, remorse, and repentance. He must have wished he could reverse or undo his actions. Thank God, Peter was not left in his misery. After the resurrection of Jesus, the Lord of ‘another chance’ restored Peter, giving him opportunity to reaffirm his love (Jh.21:15-17). The way back to God is a broken and contrite heart: The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart – these, O God, You will not despise” (Ps.51:17).

Whenever you are in like situation as Peter was, when you sorrow over sin in your life, never submit to regret; simply repent. Remember that God has provided a pathway to restoration: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1Jh.1:9). There is forgiveness with God (Ps.130:4). He says, “Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Is.1:18). However grievous your error might have been, simply locate and apply God’s UNDO key and begin with Him on a clean slate.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
