“UPHOLDING ALL THINGS by the WORD of HIS POWER” – Hebrews 1:3b
Everything in creation is UPHELD BY GOD’S WORD: “Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and UPHOLDING all things by the WORD of HIS POWER, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high” (Heb.1:3). Nothing in the Universe can be established without His Authority; nothing stands without the Word of His Power. A major theme of the book of Hebrews is the supremacy of Christ. The first four verses of Hebrews focus on the Divinity of Jesus and His Authority as the Word! Jesus Christ is the exact representation of God – the Word – who sustains everything and holds all of creation together by the mighty power of His command!
God has spoken to humankind in many ways, but now He speaks to us through Christ: He is above and beyond all things. His superiority is seen in His symbolic position, seated at the right hand of God the Father, representing honour and power. A person seated at the right hand of the king was considered trustworthy, and bestowed with the power of that king. Such references to Jesus imply His absolute power and authority. Faced with persecution, the Jewish Christians of that era were under pressure to return to Judaism, hence the need to strengthen their faith in the Veracity of the Word of God’s Power.
To “uphold” means: to carry; to be conveyed or borne; to bear up from falling; to sustain; or to bring forward. Jesus carries, conveys, bears up, and sustains all things – everyone and everything – by the Rhema of His Dunamis. God’s Rhema is that which is or has been uttered – His Spoken Word. Dunamis is His inherent ability, strength, and power. Like the gravitational pull which keeps physical creation from imploding, exploding, dissolving or floating away, Jesus holds everything – all of creation – together: the sky, the sun, the moon, the stars, trees, grass, flowers; and every living being (Col.1: 15-17)! He is the One who gives us life and sustains our lives. He sustained us in the womb is more than able to uphold us in the world!
As we round off the second month of 2021 our Year of God’s Word, Ways, and Works, and stand on the threshold of the third month, let’s recall, affirm, and prophetically declare the Dominion of God’s Word in our lives. In Jesus’ exalted Name:
As we began with God, He is fortifying us with His Words, aligning us with His Ways, and enhancing His Works in our lives.
As we continue with God’s Word, all things that matter to our lives and destinies shall be upheld and sustained.
God’s eternally settled Word is securing all aspects of our lives in His permanence, protection, power, and perfection.
We shall always have reasons to testify that God’s Word is Truth and He is True to His Words and faithful to His promises.
God is transforming our lives by the authority and sufficiency of Scriptures and the active attributes of His Word.
We shall grow stronger in the Revelation that God’s Word: is pure, purifies, gives Light, in ever right, and can be our delight.
Our testimonies shall be that: God’s Word is sweeter than honey, full of blessings, living, powerful, priceless, and perfect.
The Seeds of God’s Word planted in our hearts shall grow and produce great and bountiful harvests for His Glory.
We shall always enjoy nourishment in God’s Word as milk, bread, meat, solid food for our spirit and medicine to our flesh.
We shall always know the Word as sanctifying Water, reflective Mirror, honing hammer, refining fire, and Sword of the Spirit.
We shall increasingly experience the infinite Worth, Uniqueness, Integrity, and Wonders of God’s Word for wonderful lives.
We shall always enjoy the infinite benefits of reading, studying, searching, aligning with, and trembling at God’s Word.
God’s Word works and always prevails as we work His Word by faith, to live in Victory and limitless possibilities.
We shall always live in the reality of being redeemed, recreated, renewed, indwelt, and built up by God’s Word.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
