Bible Meditation:
Psalm 52: 1-9

But He answered and said, “Every plant which my heavenly Father has not planted will be UPROOTED” – Matthew 15:13

Making progress on the Pathway of Victory demands that you UPROOT wicked weeds and evil trees. The biblical principle of uprooting satanic plantings derives from the words of the Lord Jesus Himself: “Every plant which my heavenly Father has not planted will be UPROOTED” (Mt.15:13). John the Baptist echoed the same principle: “And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire” (Mt.3:10). Trees bear fruits because they have roots. Unfortunately, many times, believers are busy fighting the fruits, and attacking leaves, branches, and stems of ‘problem trees’ while the roots remain intact. God however goes to and deals with the roots of problems.

Although the Almighty God is more than able to uproot every satanic planting without human help, He chooses to involve His children in the experience and enjoyment of the Victory. When the Lord called and commissioned Jeremiah, His prophetic mandate was encapsulated in these words: “SEE, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to ROOT OUT and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant(Jer. 1:10). When God told Jeremiah to “see” what this meant was: “Catch a Vision of Victory”! The process of actualizing the Vision of Victory encompassed six action steps: ROOT OUT, Pull down, Destroy, Throw down, Build, and Plant. The process must not be shortened, nor the sequence shuffled. The tasks of building and planting were to be preceded by uprooting, demolishing, and destroying.

The plantings of the devil are diverse. For example, God is not the author of calamity, confusion, depression, disappointment, discouragement, failure, frustration, sinful habits, sicknesses, penury or poverty. Irrespective of the medical names given to various kinds of sicknesses, the Bible has one name for them: “every plant, which my heavenly Father has not planted”! It does not matter who planted such seeds or weeds, they must be uprooted without remains. This is where yesterday’s meditative verse comes up afresh: “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by Force” (Mt.11:12). God demands that we demonstrate spiritual violence in possessing by the Force of Faith the Victory already purchased by our Lord Jesus Christ, on Calvary’s Cross! We have been empowered to uproot all weeds of wickedness and witchcraft operations, and every evil tree of sin, curses and spells.

As for the human agents of darkness and wickedness, ours is to hand them over to the Lord for Judgement; because to Him belongs vengeance (Psa.94:1). In Psalm 52, part of the divine judgement pronounced on the boastful, deceitful, evil, and mischievous man is this: “God shall likewise destroy you forever; He shall take you away, and pluck you out of your dwelling place, and UPROOT you from the land of the living” (Psa.52:5). In contrast is the confession and declaration of the righteous: “But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever” (Psa.52:8). The Lord desires that as His children walk with Him, we develop a military mentality and demonstrate a “take it by force” faith. We are not in the era of simply studying about faith, but in the season of using and applying faith to obtain the Victory: “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the VICTORY that has overcome the world – our Faith” (1Jh.5:4).

This is not the day of just sermonizing on “the whole armor of God”;rather, it is time to put it on – to put God’s Word into Action! Stop murmuring about mountains; move them out of the way. Stop talking about evil trees; uproot them! Whatever is manifesting in any aspect of your life, which was not planted by our Father in heaven, must be uprooted! Every unprofitable tree that is working to puncture, truncate or destroy your destiny must be axed down and uprooted, in Jesus name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
