VICTORY

But thanks be to God, who gives us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ – 1 Corinthians15:57

How fast time flies! Half of Year 2018 has passed into Eternity past. All praises to God for a new month – our JULY of VICTORY! Welcome to another Prophetic Adventure – an Adventure on VICTORY Lane! This is our Season of Victory – victory in all facets and spheres of life: spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, relational, material, and financial. Victory speaks of Conquest, Overcoming, Winning, Triumph, and operating in Dominion. Victory implies subjugating all enemy forces, defeating the devil and his demons, overcoming the forces of darkness, and overthrowing false thrones and dominions. In this season, God by the Power of His Word and the Presence of His Spirit will usher us into hitherto unexplored Realms of Victory and Triumph.

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1Cor.15:57). Our Victory is in Christ! He gives us the Victory. He cannot give what He doesn’t have. The King of kings and Lord of lords has already obtained and secured eternal Victory for everyone who believes in Him unto salvation. The Lord Jesus declared: “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth” (Mt.28:18b). Everything about Jesus spells V-I-C-T-O-R-Y! There is Victory in the Word of God, and Jesus is the Word (Jh.1:14). There is Victory in the Name of Jesus: “that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those things in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth” (Phil.2:10). There is Victory in His Blood: “In whom we have redemption through His Blood, even he forgiveness of sins” (Col.1:14).

To be Victorious is to be a Victor and More-than-Conqueror; to conquer, overcome, gain the upper hand, and win in life’s battles: “Yet in all these things we are more than conqueror through Him who loved us” (Rom.8:37). God has called us to live victoriously an overcoming, Christ-based life. It is His Will and Purpose for every believer to live victoriously. The Victorious Christian life is: the full and abundant life; fruitful and fulfilling life; prosperous and productive life; and successful and maximized life. The opposite of the victorious life is the frustrated, defeated and despondent life. Unfortunately, this seems to be the experience of many believers. This is a misnomer; an aberration. It ought not to be. The Preacher called it “an evil” and “an error”, with “servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth” (Eccle.10:5-7).

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place (2Cor.2:14). The Christian’s Life – the Believer’s testimony – should be nothing less than victorious. Our Lord Jesus Christ has already obtained the Victory for us – Victory over Sin, Satan, demons, darkness, depression, diseases, destruction, and death. The Victory at Calvary and on Resurrection Morn answers to all battles of life. The victory obtained must however become enforced, and sustained! Our mind is the battlefield of active spiritual warfare, where Victory is either won or lost (2Cor.10:4, 5). As we search the Scriptures and God releases His Words every day of this month, we shall be equipped and empowered so that the Victory obtained becomes the Victory enforced, sustained, and enjoyed!
