VISITATION FOR RESTORATION (IV)

Date:
Monday, May 8, 2017
Bible Meditation:
Genesis 18: 1-16

…I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly – John 10:10b (NKJV)

Divine Visitation is one of two possible scenarios of divine encounter. You could either meet with God or He comes visiting you. The latter is the more common, the real instance of divine Visitation; and it offers greater benefits for the host. God’s Visitation can never leave you neutral. When He visits you, you cannot remain the same. His visit delivers abundant life (Jh.10:10b). His visit turns curses into blessings. Divine visitation brings renewal, revival, and restoration.

Although we cannot confine God, His visitations usually occur at critical junctions in our lives. At such times that God visits you, dashed expectations and lost hope are restored. God visited Abraham when the hope of becoming a father had faded. After waiting for twenty-five years, God’s promise to him of having a son seemed like fantasy or fiery-tale. Yet, God kept His Word. Has God made you a promise that seems like He has forgotten about? Does it look like your waiting is becoming prolonged? Have you almost lost hope of succeeding in life, of finding your marriage partner, or having your own children?

The Lord is not a promise-breaker. He has not forgotten you. He will visit you and every pending promise He has made will be fulfilled. He said to His people, Israel: “For thus says the LORD…I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place” (Jer.29:10b). Destruction was imminent on the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Their inhabitants were about to be consumed by a landmark inferno. Just before the fiery judgement, Lot had visitors from the heavenly Preserver and Restorer and he and his immediate family were rescued (Gen.19).

The Lord of Life who fulfilled His promise to Abraham and Sarah; and rescued Lot’s family from destruction, has declared this season as our Season of Prophetic Restoration. Believe Him and believe His prophetic Word. It shall be well with you.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
