THE VOICE OF WISDOM

Does not Wisdom cry out, and understanding lift up her Voice?...To you, O men, I call, and my Voice is to the sons of men – Proverbs 8:1,5

The Voice of Wisdom is crying out: “Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, and from the oprning of my lips will come right things” (Pro.8:6). Wisdom has a Voice. Wisdom speaks. The Message of Wisdom is WAYS! Wisdom speaks Ways!! Wisdom speaks right and excellent things. There are Ways of Wisdom in contrast to the ways of the fool: “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who heeds counsel is wise” (Pro.12:15). There is a way to every result under the sun. To every situation there is a supernatural solution; to every problem, a divine possibility; and to every dilemma, divine direction.

“All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the spirits” (Pro.16:2). Wisdom will save you from ways that could lead to regrets, murmuring and complaints: “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Pro.14:12; 16:25). Wisdom delivers you from the way pf defeat and death. When the Bible says for you to train up a child in THE WAY that he should go; it infers that you fill the child up with Wisdom (Pro.22:6)! Lead the child from ways of foolishness and in the Way of Wisdom!

Wisdom must precede and preside over every of your action. Receive instruction from heaven before any action step. Sweating does not always correspond with results! The race of life is not always won by the swiftest runner, nor victory in the battle guaranteed to the strongest warrior (Eccl.9:11). Scripture admonishes that you engage in the labour of the wise, not the foolish: “The labour of fools wearies them, for they do not even KNOW HOW to go to the city” (Eccl.10:15). Wisdom defeats weariness. Wisdom makes you to stand where others fall, to soar where others sink, and to win where others lose!
