“So they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, “What a word this is! For with AUTHORITY and POWER He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out” – Luke 4:36
To walk in perfection is to WALK IN AUTHORITY and POWER: “So they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, “What a word this is! For with AUTHORITY and POWER He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out” (Lk.4:36). Jesus “returned in the POWER of the SPIRIT” after the wilderness temptation, manifesting Power, until “the report about Him went out into every place” (Lk.4:14, 37). He lived and walked in Divine Power. He also authorised, empowered and mandated His disciples to do so: “Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them POWER and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases” (Lk. 9:1); “Behold, I give you the AUTHORITY to TRAMPLE on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Lk.10:19).
The Greek for word “POWER” – dunamis – speaks of the dynamic, explosive, power of God. The word AUTHORITY means: delegated power; the power to give orders or make decisions; the right to direct or control someone or something! The value of authority rests on the power that’s behind it! When a traffic policeman simply raises his hands during rush hour, and all vehicles, however fast or huge, stop, that’s authority, backed up by the State power. He doesn’t use his human strength to stop traffic; but the power delegated by government. When the disciples cast out demons in the Name of Jesus, that was authority backed up by the Unlimited Power of the Most High, in action! Authority without Power is worthless. God’s Power is behind the Believer’s authority! The devil and his forces cannot but tremble and be humiliated before our authority in Christ!
“The Most High God, the POSSESSOR of heaven and earth” – is also the Possessor of ALL POWER (Gen.14:22). In our dispensation, His Unlimited Power is perfectly expressed in the Person of His Son: “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ALL POWER is given to Me in heaven and in earth” (Matt.28:18). Jesus was “declared to be the Son of God WITH POWER, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead” (Rom.1:4). Every other power – demonic or human – is subject to Christ’s Matchless Power. To receive Him as Lord and Saviour, and connect with His Person through the Holy Spirit, is to be ushered into Supernatural Realms and become a Partaker of Divine Power: “But as many as received Him, to them gave He POWER to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name” (Jh.1:12).
Shortly before His ascension to Heaven, the Lord declared the Promise of Power: “Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with POWER FROM ON HIGH” (Lk.24:49). He again reiterated this Promise: “But you shall receive POWER when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). Finally, the promise began to be fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, as the disciples tarried in the Upper Room (Acts 2:1-4). The early church demonstrated this Promised Power. Christ’s Power is still the same today. And we are called to WALK IN HIS POWER and AUTHORITY!
God has implanted to be nurtured in every believer, the Seed of His Power: “as His DIVINE POWER has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to glory and virtue” (2Pet.1:3-4). However, walking closely with His Spirit and being deeply rooted in obedience to His Word are the keys to the release of His tremendous divine power in and through us: “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the POWER that works in us, to Him be glory in the Church by Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” (Eph.3:20-21).

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
