“For we WALK BY FAITH, not by sight” – 2 Corinthians 5:7
Believers in Christ WALK AS GOD WALKS when we WALK BY FAITH: “For we WALK BY FAITH, not by sight” (2Cor.5:7). Here, Paul affirmed that our earthly body is really just a tent, a temporary tabernacle for our eternal spirit. We have a much better dwelling place waiting for us in heaven, and what we “see” physically is not going to get us there; but what is in our hearts surely will. In the context of this portion of scripture therefore, Walking by Faith and not by sight means that we live today based on God’s promises, even though we may not already sense them materially. We do not live according to the temporary, arbitrary things that our eyes search for here on earth. We learn to trust God even when we cannot see Him working, knowing that God Himself Walks by Faith!
Faith is the Substance of things hoped for, the Assurance of things not seen. Substance speaks of something tangible, of practical value or significance. Faith gives substance to Hope. Faith substantiates our hopes and desires, for things both in time and eternity. Faith is the Substance of Hope: Faith + things hoped for = Substance. Faith is the crucial bridge between our hopes, dreams, and desires and their actualization. Hope is necessary, yet incomplete and unproductive without Faith, and can get discouraged and frustrated: “HOPE deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life” (Pro.13:12). Faith is the Evidence, certainty or conviction of things not seen – not yet received. Evidence is a sign or proof of existence, reality or truth of something.
The Word of God is proof and reality of His promised possessions. Faith gives evidence to the Unseen. Faith enables our desires to come to manifestation: “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ASK [DESIRE] when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them” (Mk.11:24). The world says, seeing is believing. Faith says believing is seeing: “Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” (Jh.20:29).
Faith in God is total Trust, strong Belief, and unquestioning Confidence. Faith transcends believing. It is belief in God’s Word to the point of obedience; obeying God as proof of believing Him, which commits Him to perform His Word.
We serve the God of Faith. God lives and walks by Faith! There’s what is called the FAITH of GOD: “So, Jesus answered and said to them, “Have FAITH in GOD” (Mk.11:22). From the original Greek words, this verse has been interpreted: “HAVE the FAITH of GOD”! Faith is God’s Lifestyle: He “gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did” (Rom.4:17b). God does not complain about visible problems; He calls forth the solutions. He doesn’t worry about what He sees; He speaks what He wills. God sees darkness and declares Light (Gen.1:2). God sees death and calls forth Life (Jh.11:43). Christianity is a Life of Faith, which is our enabling means of fully enjoying the Christian, Spiritual, and Supernatural Life, and foretastes of Eternal Life.
The Believer in Christ is called and equipped to live and walk like God – to life and walk by Faith:
“Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; but the JUST shall LIVE BY HIS FAITH” (Hab.2:4).
“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from Faith to Faith; as it is written, “The just shall LIVE by FAITH” (Rom.1:17).
“But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall LIVE by FAITH” (Gal.3:11).
“Now the just shall LIVE by FAITH; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him” (Heb.10:38).
The just have no other option than to live and walk by Faith. Walking by Faith guarantees Victory and glorious destinies in Christ: “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the VICTOTY that has OVERCOME the world – our FAITH” (1Jh.5:4).

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
