“And has MADE US KINGS and PRIESTS to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen” – Revelations 1:6
To walk in perfection is to WALK in ROYALTY: “And has MADE US KINGS and PRIESTS to His God and Father” (Rev.1:6). 1 Peter 2:9 says: “You are a chosen people, a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” In Christ, we are Royalty on the move! Not only has God destined us to reign and rule in life as kings, He wants us to know we’re royalty, and to walk as Kings. Royalty does not think, talk, mingle or walk like ordinary folks or mere mortals. Royalty exudes dignity and authority.
We have been born again into a royal family. In life, royalty usually results from a family relationship, either by blood or by marriage. The same is true in God’s family. Our salvation entails being “born again” – of the Spirit (Jh.3:3-7). We are also referred to as the bride of Christ. So, we are royalty through the bloodline and divine marriage. Our Father is the Ruler of the Universe: “The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and His Kingdom rules over all” (Psa.103:19). “His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation” (Dan.4:34). Our Lord Jesus is: “the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords” (1Tim.6:15). He is “the King eternal, immortal, invisible” (1Tim.1:17a). “And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS” (Rev.19:16).
We have been given royal authority. The King of kings “has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen” (Rev.1:6). As members of God’s royal family, we have all of the privileges, rights and responsibilities that come with such exalted position. And since Jesus defeated the enemy at the cross, we also share in His victory. The victorious King of kings gave us authority as His followers: “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Lk.10:19). As we stand firm in God’s truth as His royal sons and resist the enemy, he has no choice but to flee (Jam.4:7).
We speak words of royalty: “Where the word of a king is, there is power; and who may say unto him, “What are you doing?” (Ecc.8:4). We are carriers of the King’s words. We reign through words. We’ve been divinely delegated to exercise dominion over the devil and demonic forces of darkness. Our words are backed with power to change negative situations, and put the devil to flight. Kings talk bold; they’re not at the mercy of anyone, and it’s not in their nature to be apologetic. So, when you issue a command to Satan or decree a change in any negative situation, you do it with authority and boldness, knowing that: “You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways” (Job 22:28).
We have been given royal duties. With great power comes great responsibility. Being a Christian is not about idling or loafing around in the guise of waiting for Jesus to return. We must “OCCUPY” till He comes (Lk.19:13). We have a mission to carry out on earth. We are here for a divine and royal purpose! We are called to bring God’s light into dark places, to be ambassadors of heaven to the earth, and to live as royal citizens of heaven through the power of God’s love.
When you wake up each morning and stand by the mirror, tell the one you see, “You’re royalty in Christ!” Practise thinking, talking, living, and walking as a king, because that’s who God sees when He looks at you! He is the King of kings; we’re kings under Him. Jettison that negative picture of yourself as one who is wretched, hopeless or helpless. Kings Arise!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
