Bible Meditation:
Genesis 17: 1-8

“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; WALK before me, and be thou PERFECT” – Genesis 17:1 (KJV)

Alleluia! God’s Grace has kept us from January till JUNE – our Month of WALKING IN PERFECTION: “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said unto him, “I am Almighty God; WALK before Me and be BLAMELESS” (Gen.17:1 NKJV). This month, God is unveiling what it means and how to walk acceptably, blamelessly and pleasingly before Him on our Royal Route to Heaven. Abraham had been walking with the Lord, but it seemed to him like God was delaying in fulfilling His promise. He came to the land of Canaan at 75 years old (Gen.12:4). At eighty-six he gave birth to Ishmael (Gen. 16:16). Then thirteen years passed without a son being born to Sarah (Gen.12:1–3; 15:3,18).

God Himself is a ‘WALKER’: “and they heard the voice of the LORD God WALKING in the garden in the cool of the day” (Gen.3:8a). Now, He demanded a more intimate and pleasing walk – relationship and fellowship – from Abram (v.1). He introduced Himself as Almighty God – El Shaddai – for the first time, which is similar to a word for mountain, which infers God’s strength and endurance. Enoch had successfully walked with God (Gen.5:21-24). Now, Abram was commanded to walk before God. He was to conduct his life as an open display of faithfulness to the Lord, and be blameless – have integrity – or perfect.

The word “walk” signifies dynamism, improvement, and progress. In the context of relationship, it also implies communion or fellowship. God wanted Abraham to perfect or mature His Walk with Him. He desires the same of us. Walking in Perfection doesn’t equate “sinless perfection” or becoming totally free from temptations, sin, and errors. That will be achieved “when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is” (1Jh.3:2b). In the interim, God by His Spirit and Word, is progressively renewing our minds and transforming us to conform to the Image of His Son (Rom.8:29; 12:1-2).

Walking in Perfection assumes multiple dimensions. Let’s prophetically personalise the following:

In Jesus name, I prophesy that:

I will walk before the Lord – El Shaddai – acceptably, blamelessly, and pleasingly.

I will walk in Covenant Obedience and multi-generational Blessings of my Covenant-keeping God.

I will walk in the Light of the Word of God, never stumbling as I follow the Light of Life.

I will walk with the Lord in devoted worship, intimate fellowship, faithful friendship, and worthy service.

I will walk in the Way of the Lord, following His Will, counsel, and leading.

I will walk in the spirit, not by the lust of the flesh or the dictates of the devil.

I will walk by Grace, free from the bondage of the law and the dominion of sin and death.

I will walk by Faith, not by sight, anxiety or fear, fighting to lay hold on eternal life.

I will walk in Love which is the most excellent way – the perfect love that casts out fear:

I will walk in Hope not in despair – the sure, steadfast, never-disappointing anchor of my soul.

I will walk in the Realities of Redemption, Forgiveness and Justification that are in Christ Jesus.

I will walk in Righteousness, never in unrighteousness, to reign, and to reap blessed rewards.

I will walk in Sanctification, which is the will of God for me – possessing my vessel for His honour.

I will walk in Holiness, bearing fruit unto holiness, and perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

I will walk in Purity, never in pollution; in Obedience, never in rebellion; and in humility, never in pride.

I will walk in Integrity, not in dishonesty; in Strength, not in weakness; and in wisdom, not foolishness.

I will walk in Peace, not in confusion; in Dignity, not in ignominy; and in Realms of Glory, not shame.

I will walk in the Prophetic: move in prophetic accuracy and progress with prophetic precision.

I will arise and walk through my Promised Land, and ultimately to run and soar to fully fulfil destiny!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
